4 PM on CBS. Kansas is coming off a tough home win against Cornell. Tennessee is down to 6 scholarship players.

Kansas by 15.

Thoughts?

Tennessee can keep it close if they play with the intensity they did Wednesday night. They will struggle with KU's inside play, but they still have the talent with Hopson, Chism, Prince, Woolridge, Maze and a few others to compete. If this game gets above the 60's, it's lights out for UT.

If this team somehow gets Tatum and Goins back at minimum, I honestly am not sure they lose a whole lot. The biggest problem is right now, without Goins and Tyler Smith, they have no true distributor. Bobby Maze isn't a true PG, and they haven't had a quality one since C.J. Watson.

My guess is that this game will stay close for 10 or so minutes, maybe even most of the first half, but then it's Rock Chalk to the bank. The loss of Smith alone really hurt the Vols chances in this game. The Cornell game was an anomaly; KU is scary good when playing to their potential. And they seem to do that more times than not.

I'm in a good mood to watch college hoops today. It's that lull part of Sunday afternoon, the ground is covered with snow that's sure to turn to slush and dirt soon and I just got back from finishing up some work at the office. If Tyler Smith's delusional bout of thinking he was Ike Clanton ruins this game, I'm going to be pissed.

I like the energy thus far from the Vols, just doubt they can keep it up with only 9 players dressed.

Kansas is looking good so far. Getting more and more excited about the matchup with Texas in about a month.

I thought this might be a trap game for Kansas, before the suspensions.

If the Vols can have a lead going into the 2nd half, I think they are in pretty good shape.
