Well after getting sent to the D league.....doing well and getting the call back he sat the first 6 games without playing. Tonight he gets in....has some early trouble but ends up hitting 2 pretty key shots from 21 and 19 feet away. He had 4 pts, 3 rb and an assist in 7 minutes. He was 2-4 from the field.....missing bunnies but drilling long shots.

I was one of the few who defended him through college and the draft. Not his effort, but that I saw potential and thought his game was better suited for the NBA compared to what Matta had him doing.

I wasn't surprised he was sent to the NBDL and don't think he's ready yet. But he has all the tools to be a good pro and will be a better pro than Gre Oden, and I say that regardless of the injuries.

The NBA game is too fast for Oden and suits Mullens well because he can get up and down the court and play the pick and roll.

I think drilling a 21 footer and 19 footer at 7'1.....and going in for PF Nick Collison might mean some more PT....he could keep hitting from that distance and he'll be quite the mismatch!

Is Kosta still a bum in the NBA?

Kosta is the one that is head scratching to me. He can shoot the ball, but that's it. He's slow, can't defend and is soft. Shocked anyone looked at him with a first round pick.

There are those who can say players who have been 1-and-done under Matta, haven't quite pan out in the Pros. Greg Oden is injury prone, Kosta rarely plays, B.J. (or Byron now) is off to a rough start, Daequan been up and down, and Conley probably been decent at best.

He's 7 foot tall. That's all you need to know.
