I can't find conformation but it is rumored he is going back to his 1130 time slot so I guess its good bye Conan. Proabably a good idea since Conan has been sucking lately. I think O'Brien is more suited for the 1230 audience anyways.

According to my buddy who texted me, Leno may only get a half hr or he may get the whole 90 mins.
Well, if this happens, hopefully they get rid of Fallon and not Conan. That Huffington Post article hints that Conan could get screwed.

I imagine, if there is truth to this, that in a perfect world it's ba-bye Jimmy Fallon and welcome back Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
Now if Conan were the odd man out, then it would definitely be worth tuning in to the final weeks. Conan, I'm sure, would go out in a blaze of glory.

It just seems to make no sense.
Will Conan go for that, and how long of a contract did he sign when he took over? Maybe they'll push Jay into a 12:30 - 1:00 slot or something as a quick late night show.
As mentioned, the end of Fallon would be a plus.

Get rid of Fallon and put Conan back where he belongs. I have been a fan of Conan for years, the move to the 1130 slot has ruined his show imo. This wouldnt be a problem if Leno would just go away.

Conan has sucked ass. I loved the show at first, but it had gotten worse everyday, which made me quit watching.
I catch Jay's show on Monday, just for the Headlines.

Maybe Conan pulls a Letterman, gets pissed at NBC and runs to CBS, replacing Craig Ferguson (who is not that funny) and waits for Letterman's spot?

Jay is much better at the monologue, Conan is much better at interviews. The slapstick stuff that made Conan's Late Night so good has been grossly lacking.
I could see Leno from 11:30-12, and then Conan could do 1-1.5 hours, just add another guest and a few more commercials.

Hmmmm....I was looking for ratings, and it seems the Tonight Show has lost 52% of its audience.
Get this, though....rumors that NBC was talking to Seinfeld about taking over

Looks like NBC has decided that the money saved from not having a couple of scripted shows id offset by the abysmal ratings for the 10 o'clock hour.

I watched a few of Leno's shows at 10. It sucked. It will probably suck when it goes back to 11:30

Leno will out poll O'Brien because O'Brien isn't funny. I said it a long time ago when this whole debate started and now I'm starting to see former O'Brien fans see the light. In my view, the network will not reward an unfunny O'Brien with a hour and give the more popular Leno 30 minutes...and please, lets not pull Fallon into the equation. It seems like a diversionary tactic to make people forget just how unfunny O'Brien really is. Carson.....#1, Leno....#2, Letterman.....#3, And almost anyone except O'Brien.......#4, And I still hesitate to rank O'Brien anywhere in the top 100. I'm sorry but the man simply isn't funny. If you like him, more power to you, but apparently you are in a decided minority.

O'Brien WAS funny on Late Night. And so if Leno can be unfunny at 10:00, then it's not terrible indictment for Conan to be unfunny at 11:30.

Wow, NBC is just a mess. They need to get new leadership.
1. Who thought that Leno at 10pm would be a good idea? This is not the 1970s...variety hours do not work anymore.
2. Anybody who would even entertain the notion of leaving Jimmy Fallon on and taking Conan off clearly can't run a network.

Yeah - but will Conan GO to 12:30??
Wonder if will come down to a matter of who will cost the most to buy out?

Call me crazy but I would like to see Kimmel get a little earlier time slot.
