To me, it seems like a name recognition/Detroit buddy of Gilbert's. I think it's going to be pretty shitty if Griff wanted a raise and the title of "President" and they give that money/title to Billups, who has no experience. Besides having a recognizable name, I really don't know what Billups is going to be able to do that Griff couldn't. That's why I've compared him to Haslam.
