I'm actually shocked. I thought for sure with all the money on the line, that they would both suck it up and get a deal done. I thought both were set to make something like $30 million.

from the article:

“He is upset his reputation has been tarnished and he wants his fans to know that at some point, you have to stand on principal. He’s walking away from $35 million, $40 million, maybe $50 million on principal.”

Umm...how about you just do the tests? Who gives a shit? I love Pac-Man, but c'mon man

The Green bay Packers are threatening to not play Arizona unless they undergo Olympic testing.

Arizona is protesting saying the Organization already has drug tests set up and no need to implement Olympic tests.

Arizona should just man up and take the tests. Nothing outragous about Green Bays demands at all./analogy

Sorry, but that was not the sticking point. And there is no weight limit in football.

Most of the websites that had posted interviews of the Mayweathers accusing Pac of PED's deleted them as soon as Pac filed the lawsuit. Mallignaggi's twitter accusing Pac has been deleted as well.
Nobody was deleting articles accusing the many MLB players or Shane Mosley of PED's even in the face of lawsuits. Probably had something to do with presence of some proof. The burden of proof is on the accuser not the accused.

This all started when Pacquiao was dumb enough to agree to the extra drug-testing the first time.
IMO he never should have done that, all it did was open the door for the Mayweathers to keep demanding more and start a smear campaign which is exactly what happened. There are already rules in place for drug-testing it was just stupid to agree to any kind of change for one fight.

^^^According to espn Pacquiao bent over a little more during the mediation and Mayweather held firm, killing the fight.
What went on seems pretty obvious to me.
Anyone who holds firm to a position during a negotiation knowing that said position will kill the negotiation simply does not want the negotiation to continue.

As long as neither of them get beat in their next fight and Pacquiao does not win a political office in the Phillipines in their upcoming elections, I still think this fight will go forward in the fall.
It took a long time to make De Ha Hoya/Mayweather too...

they just wanted to be sure he doesnt dope...did they accuse of him of doping, say he does dope, or say they think it looks fishy.....unless they said they know he dopes I don't think it's defamation

They did indeed say Pacquiao is doping, numerous times.

Unless Pacquiao drops the suit, they are going have show proof to a judge.

I love boxing, but honestly--it's not a secret to see what's killing it.

It's not dead like UFC proponents claim--but WOW.

(Although, the Lesnar/Fedor fight never happened, and probably never will now).

What exactly are the Mayweather's reason for thinking Pac is using steroids?
Is it because he has gained so much weight and is still performing at a high level?

If so I find that kind of odd considering Manny was 17 when he turned pro and weighed 106 pounds. Mayweather won the National Golden Gloves when he was 16 and he weighed, you guessed it, 106 pounds.

Now somehow Mayweather is the natural 147lber, yet Manny must be roiding up to get that big.

So did all the guys on Around The Horn before that.

They did bring up an interesting point about wanting to get the fight away from that March date and the ncaa tournament. HBO has openly admitted to not wanting to schedule one of their ppv's right before or during the tournament in the past.
Having the fight in April or May is not a option due to Pac running for office, so it needed to be backed up until late summer at least.

But Manny wont do tests? Even when Floyd offered them a 14 day buffer? Thats still not good enough.

Yet idiots like the people here will still claim Mayweather is scared lol. Goddamn Jokes some people are.
