CMU just scored the go ahead TD and 2-point conversion to take a 34-31 lead with 1:17 left.

On the TD catch, it was bobbled so they reviewed it. The guy clearly caught the ball, but it also didn't cross the goal line before he was down. Apparently the officials were so focused on whether he caught the ball that they didn't even look to see if he was in the end zone.

Did anyone see this? Am I wrong or did he not get in?

It would have been nice for CMU if the correct call would have been made so they could run time off the clock. Now Troy is gonna go down and score.

Of course CMU lets them tie the game.

They also wasted a timeout to ice the kicker when they could have used it to try to get into FG range themselves.

Tied it up.

I'd like CMU to win one, seeing as how the MAC hasn't won a bowl in a shade under forever.

I hope so, but I thought it was short. They never showed a straight-on angle.

if you have dvr check the 2nd replay out of the 10 or so they showed. it's not 100% conclusive but i think the nose was on the line, definitely can't be overturned at least.

Yeah, you're right. It's definitely not conclusive enough to be overturned. Really wish it would have been though. I knew 1:17 was way too much time after the way Troy had been moving the football all half.

Two of the best endings came in the games MAC teams played in. The Humanitarian Bowl (BG vs. Idaho) had the most entertaining 4th quarter of any bowl IMO. This one has been pretty good in the 2nd half.

LeFevour is doing everything he can to win this game for CMU. I hope his defense can step up here.

And of course, the defense doesn't make a play.

Troy should go for 2 because I'd say they would definitely get it.

That was a great game. Good win for the Chips. Kiper has LeFevour as the 4th best senior quarterback coming out so he will get his shot in the League for someone at some point.

CMU is a tough team, they've done very well in the MAC the last few years.

This should have been a much easier game for CMU. Troy didn't beat anyone good this year. They got blown out by Florida and Arkansas and even lost big to Bowling Green. At least Central Michigan beat Michigan State again. (I think CMU has a winning record against MSU.)

At any rate, CMU snapped the MAC's 15-game losing streak in bowls.

Another idiot coach (Troy) who plays "by the book" and loses. Go for 2 in OT you asshole. The percentages were greatly in your favor.

Also...in a game like that....never punt on 4th and 4 on the opponents side of the field...up 5 with 5 minutes to go.

It's hard to tell how good LeFevour is since the MAC has been so bad.

I'd put him right behind Leftwich as the best MAC qb ive seen.
