I would put The Chronic and Doggystyle above it. But I agree that it is top 5.

It's strong.

It's tough to pick a top 5. Some candidates:

Abbey Road, The Beatles
Melon Collie, The Smashing Pumpkins
Nevermind, Nirvana
The Wall, Pink Floyd
Hotel California, The Eagles
Marshall Mathers LP, Eminem
OK Computer, Radiohead
The Joshua Tree, U2
Thriller, Michael Jackson
Back in Black, AC/DC
One Nation Under a Groove, Parliament
Are You Experienced, Jimi Hendrix
Revolver, The Beatles
Stand, Sly and the Family Stone

Yep.

I would rank this pretty high as far as rap albums go though I haven't really listened to rap in 7 or 8 years.

I also don't really listen to rap much anymore. To me, it peaked in the early to mid 90's and is more "studio" R&B stuff now. I miss the days of NWA.......

It's not in my top 100.

However, if I had a separate list just for hip hop albums, it'd crack the top 50.

Not really.

Stop listening so much to the radio, there is a TON of great hip-hop out there.
