So on an inadvertent whistle, the team with the arrow gets the ball? If Gonzaga would have had the arrow, then WV would have lost the possession.

Yes. And technically should have never looked at it since they called it inadvertent.

It was at 1:59 so they had the ability to look at who the ball was off. They didn't need to call it an inadvertent whistle. They got the call "right" but it was still wrong.

Not sure if this was mentioned, but Chris Weber was god awful. He was fucking clapping in the mic after gonzaga hit the 3. What a joke.

They took the arrow away from WV which wasn't fair, but I guess they did the best they could after the ref wrongly anticipated the the play. And were fortunate the arrow didn't come into play at the end.
