a Coach K once again gets outcoached. His inability to move his offense away from the guard pressure was a stupid move

This is like me complaining Indiana gave up 50+ in a half to a shit team/offense. In reality, they suck on thatbside and out in zero effort.
No, Duke deserved to lose. Period.

I'm just salty everyone had me convinced Duke was good that round because I knew nothing of SC and not one person on here (that knew Duke's defense) thought they'd have any issue with SC.

Azu stating they have no offense and then only 1 team in the tourney so far (Kansas) has had a better offense.

Was Marquette a bottom level defense as well?

South Carolina, 124th in the nation on offense AFTER scoring 90+ in back to back games.
Marquette, 164th in the nation on defense.

Shit happens. Maybe what we can take from this is...terrible defensive teams can make bad offensive teams look good.

12 of the 16 teams left are in the top 25 in total defense. Outliers...Butler (43), Xavier(66), Michigan (73), UCLA (77).

What Sweet 16 games are you guys pumped about?

Wisc/Florida....meh
Baylor/SC....same

I expect both to be good games, but don't care a bit who wins.

Gonzaga/WVU...yes please
Xavier/Zona....yep

Kansas/Purdue.....a little interest
Michigan/Oregon...will watch!

UNC/Butler...like KU vs Purdue, both potentially exciting upsets but feel the athleticism of the top seeds will prevail by 10 in the end.

UCLA/Kentucky...should be great. Gut tells me one team won't play well and not be as good as anticipated...but very much looking forward to.

Of the 16 left....my #1-#4 favorite teams left are all the 4 west teams.

KenPom has Baylor 65, South Carolina 61.

Obviously I'm pumped (and extremely nervous) for the UK/UCLA game. Also looking forward to Gonzaga/West Virginia and Kansas/Purdue. Total contrast of styles in those which makes it more fun.

Whoa, I said to take SC. Not straight up, but I knew this would be a battle. I'm not shocked at all duke went down.

I'll watch Wisconsin for the Toledo kids. Other than that, the region is dead to me. Nothing exciting left there.

Gonzaga and WV should be great. I've been pretty much all in on Zags this year, and think they show it again this game.
Xavier - Zona, inthink Xavier's run comes crashing down. Sets up what should be a classic regional with Gonzaga and Arizona.

Kansas should be able to handle Purdue. Biggie will get his, just don't let Mathias and Vince go off. I think close game that never feels close.
Michigan and Oregons another barn-burner. Oregon prevails, but it's a back and forth contest. This is a perfect matchup for them, in their depleted state (no Boucher).

UNC - Butler, wow does Butler looks great right now. Shooting lights out and defending well. I think they pull the upset in whatbis our first buzzer-beater of the tourney.
UCLA - Kentucky...not much to say here. Could be a Final Four matchup. Just a great game on paper, hope it doesn't disappoint. I won't miss it. I think Lonzo plays great and carries ucla to the win. 17/13/10. First triple double in a while in NCAAs

Wisc/Florida --- Could be interesting, but not overly excited to see it.

Baylor/SC --- Magnify Wisc/Florida a good bit. At least I'm familiar with Wisc and can recognize most of their players.

Gonzaga/WVU --- HELL YEAH! My bracket even has a stake in this one!

Xavier/Zona --- Meh, have a feeling Zona will dismantle them. Then again, I had that feeling about X the past two rounds and they're the ones doing the dismantling.

Kansas/Purdue --- Not overly. Barring Jackson getting suspended again, this should be an easy Kansas win.

Michigan/Oregon --- This will be a fun game, definitely watching.

UNC/Butler --- While I'm looking forward to the elimination of the ACC, I doubt it'll happen here.

UCLA/Kentucky --- Easily #1 as far as what I'm looking forward to, as far as on-court product goes. And my bracket's last gasp is tied up in UCLA winning it all, so it's #1 as far as that goes, too!

Going to post this now for fun (since in a few hours my brackets, like any, can be busted).

But I have a legit chance of going 1-2 in my pool. Still alive to do that even if Oregon loses (but I'd have to recalculate). But I need Oregon to stay alive for a perfect region and final 4.

We'll see where I stand at the end of the night

WVU/Gonzaga was brutal on the eyes. I couldn't watch more than a few minutes.

Walton and Irvin have been so damn clutch all Tournament. When they need a big shot, it's like always going down.

There will be about 6 other teams advancing today and tomorrow that don't deserve it over these two.
