gosh a ruddies, obviously you don't. High School football is a game for teenagers to play. Marion deserves much more praise for it academics than for its sports team. gosh a ruddies I live in the MAC area and that is not true. Almost all the schools near Marion have football. In fact most of them have won football championships: Fort Recovery, St. Henry, Coldwater, Minster, Delphos St John, Versailles. Why are they fighting so hard to defend the reputation of a school which academically fails its students? All of our championships were won on the field. You keep printing this lie that we never won a championship since the playoffs began. The Ohio High School Athletic Association announced Saturday that it is penalizing the Massillon High School football team for recruiting violations.
OHSAA Interim Commissioner Dave Gray announced the decision via an email.

Another thread explains that our 8th grade team is looking for a game. This would be a perfect opportunity for the Marion Local varsity to get its feet wet with the big boys.
