They tried to lose it after getting up big. Good win......see what I did there??
Now....2 more to go for the MAC...
Coldwater's kicker/WR/RB/leading tackler hurts his ankle pretty badly last week and hasnt been doing anything but limping along in practice all week. With him, the would have a shot vs tuCCC. Couple his injury with their other big time def player who broke his leg 2 weeks ago it could be a long night and CCC may get their revenge.

Great accomplishment by Marion Local! Congrats. In a 17 year time span, I believe only Ignatius can equal that accomplishment, and only Massillon has done better. Did I forget any programs?queencitybuckeye;1827284 wrote:9 titles in 17 years. Incredible accomplishment.

Massillon would slobber knock Marion Local. How many National Championships does ML have? Do they have 10 National Championships? Do they have 9 NATIONAL Championships? When they win their 8th, call me and I'll start paying attention.ernest_t_bass;1827439 wrote:Aren't Massilion's all paper championships? Kinda like Notre Dame?

# 1) Gosh a ruddies? What is this 2009? I haven't been over to what y'all....Ironically, call the serious business forum in a tremendously long time (because sharing with y'all what movie I watched recently or what my pets name is doesn't reach too high on my priority meter) but I recall "gosh a ruddies" being the popular phrase WAY back when. Good to see you guys stay true to the trends here.
# 2 how many national titles does ML have? Not nine you say? Boom you lose.
# 3) the moderation here on this site is unparalleled, if you feel our grade A first class moderators moderate based on opinion, I strongly suggest you change your opinion.
Thanks for your cooperation.

1. Gosh a ruddies, I myself don’t spend much time on the Serious Business Forum, more when I am here on Politics, trying to educate Neanderthals.
2. My preference is for real football championships won on the field. Something that schools like St. Ignatius and Marion Local have. Not artificial awards won by publicity and politics but real championships won on the playing field. How many state football championship has Massillon won under the playoff system. And most people alive today were born long after Massillon even got its phony championships, its ancient history.
3. Of course ultimately high school football is just a game played by two groups of adolescents, a kids’ game. When you actually compare Massillon High School to Marion Local on the job they are supposed to be doing
Massillon average ACT 20
Ohio average 22
Marion Local average ACT 23
Passing Ohio State Tests for English, Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies
Massillon 88.5%
Ohio Average 91.8%
Marion Local 98.9%

We have a stud qb from Perry who will bring us state and national titles. What is the highest Marion Local ever finished in a national poll? As far as the ACT and Ohio test, who cares? People care more about Mr. Football than who scored high on some test.isadore;1856680 wrote: 1. gosh a ruddies, national polls are artificial, driven by pr. We can see how valid polls are by what happened to Massillon once they actually had to win championships on the playing field instead of through politics and publicity. For most discerning folk the Ohio and ACT test scores and graduation rates, trumpAl Bundy;1856684 wrote:We have a stud qb from Perry who will bring us state and national titles. how well a school does in playing a kids' game. Of course that doesn't apply to you guys.

If by "classiest and gracious" you mean "arrogant, condescending and egotistical," then I agree.superman;1827317 wrote:Marion Local also has one of the classiest and most gracious fan bases Ive ever encountered.

That's right, have you ever seen 34,000 people fill a classroom to see a kid take an algebra class? Yeah, me neither.
Still waiting on my answer. How many National Titles has Ml won? If the answer is 10 or more, I'll shut up.

Yet you still use that stupid phrase. Oh well. I do think it's hilarious that you looked up those numbers. Kinda different demographics wouldn't ya say? Anyway, if you can't win the football argument go to academics.isadore;1856680 wrote: 1. Gosh a ruddies, Massillon has won at least 9 State Titles because they have 9 NATIONAL TITLES....I think they even have 6 or 7 universal championships. Who in this universe could have beat some of those teams? Marion Local? Gosh a ruddies, I think not.isadore;1856704 wrote:gosh you got a be a state champ before you are a national champ and how many playoff championships has Massillon won.
