At some point the committee needs to decide if being a conference champion matters.

Rewarding the Luckeyes for being so poor as to not even qualify for the conference championship sends a horrendous message to all those colleges doing it the right way.

I can't wait to see the committee dance through hoops about how the Luckeyes get to be in the playoff while the team that beat them in the regular season stays home.

It will just reinforce the continued favoritism and double standard that is always in place when it comes time to evaluate the Luckeyes.

They are continually graded on a curve while the rest of the nation is forced to play straight up.
