I consider the women's march a success because Trump spent a historic moment and effort into lying to people about crowd size. You can really tell he was triggered by the lack of enthusiasm for a POTUS inauguration vs. a grassroots march that started organizing the day after the election.

Who in the hell cares how many people were at the inauguration. The inauguration had a purpose - the transition of power from one president to another. The marches the next day were completely chaotic in that they had no articulated goal. Most people I've read about could not make a concise answer as to why they were marching. Near as I can tell, it had to do with fear of things that haven't happened and will not happen; and some type of need to be a victim / hero. Victim because that makes people feel better about themselves and hero because they see themselves as modern day civil rights champions. In reality, a woman is entitled to everything I am, but don't let that spoil the fun.
