Federal "income" tax should be something around 10% for every person in the US. You earn $15,000 a year you pay $1500, you earn $100,000 a year you pay $10,000 a year and so on.
So what is your number? Remember people are taxed at state and local also.

I have not seen a pay raise in almost 8 years.....insurance increases every year eat it all up. My wife lost her insurance years ago.....i have not talked to a retired teacher in years that can retire and not work. Insurance is $600 a month for a retired teacher. Social security in its current format is a Dem problem. Yes it is. There are SO many issues it's not even worth my time. Absolute nightmare for people to record, calculate and categorize, much less enforce and audit.BoatShoes;1882474 wrote:

Market corrections take place every few years. This huge run up is not an artificial bubble. Its a correction of 8 years of terrible government policy.
