The MKC was supposed to go to Mexico.

aaand like i said the article originally came out over a year ago.. before trump even won his party let alone the general.

yeah its great publicity to bring it up now for both parties.. for people who don't pay attention to anything (looking at you). Reality is your statement is retarded b/c the plant was never going to close, an frankly, couldnt close due to UA contracts. They were going to move 1 line to mexico (mkc) and replace it with the ford escape.

President-elect Donald Trump suggested on Twitter that he convinced Ford Motor Co. to keep production of a Lincoln sport utility vehicle in the U.S. instead of moving it to Mexico. And the automaker doesn’t dispute that.
“Just got a call from my friend Bill Ford, Chairman of Ford, who advised me that he will be keeping the Lincoln plant in Kentucky -- no Mexico,” Trump wrote in a Twitter post.

Not saying he isn't qualified but he does have a past with some interesting(racist) comments that prevented him from being a federal judge over 30 years ago and you can bet that is what you will hear about for quite awhile.

I hope people would care about a Reagan appointed judge being rejected by a Republican Congress because he was too racist; now being appointed AG.

More garbage being put into positions of power by Trump. He deserves the backlash.

Isn't he the guy who wants waterboarding?

No thanks. Again, very disappointed in these picks. Straight junk.

I'm not against waterboarding. I'm not totally for it, either. It should be a practice that requires some substantial evidence against the person first and foremost - not hunches.

I sure as hell hope so.

We finally have leaders who want to win for a change, for The People.

My only concern with Pompeo is that he is a huge fan of Mass Surveillance. He is definitely qualified for the job though. Best of Trumps picks so far.

I think water boarding is great for those who kill people and will not tell where they put the body...
waterboarding is a tool and should be use when required....

That was 30 years ago… 20 years ago Hillary Clinton was a homophobe.

I don't know about that....But it is funny how the media is pushing this narrative that the process is chaotic and unprepared.

No problem here with them scrutinizing and critiquing every move. Nice to see the media waking up from its 8 year slumber.

Don't get caught up in liberal media and unfounded rumors from 30 years ago. Actions speak louder than words.

Also, some douche from Hamilton called out Pence at a performance last night. So dumb and unprofessional

Did you actually listen to what he said? Not a huge deal. Then Trump tweets about it. Good to see the POTUS is focused on whats important.

Yea, I watched the video. It was stupid to say anything. No one gives a shit about some broadway actor's opinion.
Trump tweeting about it was dumb though.

Apparently Trump wants to make sure he and his allies can have their "safe zones" where they don't have to worry about facing criticism!

agree not that big of a deal ...but stick to performing arts
Being in the Broadway performance ( great play I love Broadway) Hamilton doesn't make you and the others ( did everyone in the cast feel this was needed) political prodigies.
