Carolina led Miami 32-20 with under 4 minutes to go in the 1st half. Now they lead 34-29 at halftime thanks to a spectacular lineup on the floor. Would it be too much to ask for this team to just finish someone when they have the chance?

2 blown charge calls led to most of the let down.

Thanks. Only getting to watch intermittently.

Looks like they have opened it back up. Finish it this time!

Carolina granted my wish and hammered Miami, 78-53.

Louisville coughed up a 12 point second half lead and lost to Duke, 81-77.

Carolina/Duke Part III tomorrow night.

Duke/louisville was a very good game. Duke came from 12 down to win. Kennard was on fire the second half.

Illinois did their best Ohio state impression and got beat by 20. They didn't look interested in playing at all.

TCU taking Kansas down to the wire. Kansas playing without Josh Jackson. Tied with 45 seconds to go.

Don't really take much from Kansas losing without Jackson.

Still a 1 and going to be a favorite to win it all.

Oh, Kansas is still a 1 seed but they might have lost a little luster. getting Jackson back will help but this is still kind of a bad loss.

Given the geography, Kansas in the Midwest and Villanova in the East are almost guaranteed to be locked in.

Gonzaga/Oregon/UCLA in the West
North Carolina/Baylor/Kentucky in the South

That's probably where the other 1-seeds come from

I see ZERO chance of Kentucky being a 1.

Hell, not sure I'd have them a 2 even.

Look up the numbers. Not that far off from UNC. And beat them on a neutral court. And if UNC loses tomorrow, would have 2 more losses.

Almost dead even RPI and SOS.
UK 9 top 50 wins
UNC 10 top 50 wins

If you dismiss UK, you almost have to dismiss UNC. I would agree, neither deserve it over UCLA if they win out. However, people are just locking UNC in even if they have 7 losses just because they won the ACC. Look at their actual ACC wins and their ACC schedule, it wasn't nearly as tough as others.

UNC also had to play Louisville, Notre Dame and Florida State once, and got to play all of them at home.

That's fine. UK I have as the 8 seed, and that's before a possible Florida loss. I have them closer to the 3 line than 1, that's my point. Arizona could play themselves to a 2 seed, while ucla and Oregon probably are locked into a 2 at worst...?

I also think UK is a 2 with the SEC title and a 3 without it.

The SEC Final doesn't matter.

UK won last year and got a 5 and A&M lost and got a 4.

I wasn't saying UK's odds at a 1 are good, but there are 4 brackets on Bracket Matrix that have them there. I was also saying that compare UK's resume to UNC's and answer why UNC is considered a lock for a 1 regardless and UK not even really mentioned? Too big of a perceived gap compared to what it actually is.

Hey, everyone, Rutgers was so pumped up after beating Ohio State, they gave up 31 straight points to Northwestern!

Earlier in the year I would've told you Missouri and Oregon State were worse than Rutgers, but I just can't now.

Lunardi has Nova as the overall 1 seed and Carolina as 2nd 1 seed. Dropped Kansas with the loss.

Baylor lost to K-State. Their hopes of a 1 seed are finished.

UCLA had a close call with USC, but got the win.

They really didn't have hopes of a 1. Now, Baylor probably falls to a 3 or possibly a 4, when they start moving around regions. Same with Louisville. Both damaging losses yesterday.

Bobby Knight-lol

http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaabk/bob-knight-says-he-wont-return-to-indiana-hopes-old-guard-are-all-dead/ar-AAo6Z9B?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=U141DHP

The 1976 Indiana Hoosiers – the last college basketball team to go undefeated en route to a national championship – are the subject of a new Showtime documentary.
Bob Knight coached those Hoosiers, and the vitriol still drips from the Hall of Famer when it comes to the people who ran the university during his tenure. Knight and Indiana had a messy divorce in 2000, and the rift still hasn't been mended.
On Friday, Knight went on "The Dan Patrick Show" and was in vintage form. From that conversation, via the Indianapolis Star:
Patrick asked Knight: Why do we want you to go back to Assembly Hall so bad?
“Well, I think I’ve always really enjoyed the fans, I always will," Knight said. "On my dying day, I will think about how great the fans at Indiana were. And as far as the hierarchy at Indiana University at that time, I have absolutely no respect whatsoever for those people. With that in mind, I have no interest in ever going back to that university.”
Patrick followed up: "Aren’t those people all out of there coach?"
Knight: “I hope they’re all dead."
Patrick: "Some of them are…"
Knight: “Well, I hope the rest of them go.”
