If you take right now as if the season ended today, there is no way the winner of the ACC (being Carolina) wouldn't be a 1.

I would say 1, 2, play in(maybe out), 5, 4.

I think Duke is going to get A LOT of love come selection Sunday. Unless, of course, they lose another they shouldn't. The next 2 for them are gonna be crucial to their résumé.

Same thing for Carolina. They need to keep this lead in the ACC. Tomorrow is a HUGE night for them. Beating Louisville, who some think can cut down the nets, would go A LONG way in showing who they really are.

Fwiw, Lunardi has:
Carolina 1
Duke 3
Cuse 12
UC 5
WVU 4

And Cuse as part of his "last four byes".

He has 10 ACC teams. 7 each from B12 and B1G. 6 Big East, 5 P12, 4 SEC.

Damn I was close! Lol.

Not that Lunardi is really any good at seeding.

Yeah, he's actually pretty bad. I don't even know if anyone is that good at seeding? Palm? I really don't know.

why couldn't Unc Be left out of top line?

kansas and nova are essentially locks...gonzaga will get one if they go undefeated and I don't see them losing....

cant Pac12 champ get last spot? Don't three Pac 12 teams come in at 4-6 in the rankings?

Carolina would be the winner of hands down the best conference. If that isn't a 1 seed, than I don't know what is. And rankings don't really mean anything to the committee.

Unc is definitely a 1 seed assuming a decent finish. Aren't their last 4 games against ranked teams?

And then the ACC Tourney lol like you siad, that's the toughest conference this year.

If UNC wins 3/4 and then wins the ACCT, they're a lock for a 1 seed.

I think Cuse beats Duke, puts them in and Duke at the #4

No one is any good, but that's mostly cause the committee changes up shit every year and are generally bad at their job lol.

Bracket Matrix is pretty good because of the sample size. Of course, there's no predicting what the committee will do.

I'm all for a weekly reveal of their top 16 because it would give us data to compare their actual seeds to.

So NW gets crushed by Illinois last night. Have to start getting a little nervous in Evanston now.

They should be okay. As long as they don't lose out or something.

I'll just say that in a landscape where trash like Clemson ("We lose all the time to virtually everyone...but it's a tough conference and the losses are usually close!") is widely considered to be still in the mix, I'd have to think NW still has a good bit of wiggle room.

Now, they really could have used last night's win, as their schedule isn't the most favorable down the stretch. Their easiest opponent is Indiana and that's on the road, before they finish at home with Michigan and Purdue. 0/3 and they're in trouble. 1/3 and they're in. 2/3 and people won't be talking about their recent struggles, much of which happened with Lindsey out with mono (he was back last night, but at 1-11 from the field, I'm guessing he was, at least, rusty.

Yeah NW is a near lock. Even going 1-4 (one win being in the big ten tourney), they'll be 21-13. This year, that is enough to get in.

Yep. Syracuse is like 16-14. And Lunardi doesn't even have them in the Play-In. Northwestern losses out, I'd bet they still make it.

The CBS podcast had an interesting debate on Wichita today. Basically, spent 20 minutes talking about how even if they win out and lose to Ill. State in the finals, and finish 29-5, they should be out. But because they got in last year with a horrible resume (basically, because of their KenPom and their NAME), they have to get in this year.

Duke and Syracuse just played 8:20 of uninterrupted basketball. No under 16 TO.
