They get every break. Never fails.

This isn't a game if you fucking defend the 3 or make free throws. K wins again.

Yup.

Really, really wish Hicks was healthy enough to go tonight. Totally different game with him. Maye played well, no doubt about it, but when he had to guard Tatum it was over. Hicks would have been able to stay with him.

"Thanks for the ass kicking, Mike. I'll laugh and smile and then go to the press conference and talk about how I didn't do a good enough job tonight."

lol at Ironman02's sarcastic anger

Love it.

UNC is the better team and will likely win the rematch and go deeper into ACCT and March Madness

It's ridiculous. Under Roy, Carolina rarely beats Duke when they're not far and away the better team. Most times, when they are the better team, they still have to settle for a split. Outside of the years with Hansbrough/Lawson/Ellington, K has out coached Roy and has embarrassed him.

Duke spreads Carolina out, drives and kicks to shooters, and makes threes all night long. Roy refuses to adapt and realize that open threes are not lower percentage shots than contested twos against this team. When you're constantly getting out scored by 20+ points from beyond the arc, it's damn near impossible to beat a good team. Stop sagging off shooters and see what happens. Just once. One fucking time, just try something different and see if you can hold them to under 10 damn threes and win.

And basically any time the games are close down the stretch, Duke finishes strong and Carolina doesn't. K puts his players in better position to make plays down the stretch. Justin Jackson was dominating Duke in the first half tonight. Guess how many times he touched the ball in the last eight minutes? Twice. Two fucking times. Meanwhile, Tatum was being isolated on Luke Maye (yes, Luke fucking Maye was guarding him) since Hicks was out, and that little bitch Grayson Allen was running off screens and shooting wide open shots because for some reason, Carolina is deathly afraid of guards challenging their big men in the lane and would rather give them wide open looks from the perimter. Kennard was getting the ball too. Why? Because their coach found ways to make sure they touched the ball at the most pivotal point in the game.

Joel Berry did an awful job of running the offense for Carolina and creating, but how many timeouts were called to get the Heels into a good offensive set when things weren't looking good? How many actual plays were drawn up to get a bucket at a key point? I can't remember exactly, but I bet you the number is close to ZERO. Carolina led 71-70 and then got manhandled in crunch time because of this stuff, like they always do against Duke.

Roy is now 11-17 against Duke since he came home to Carolina, and the Heels are 13-26 against them since 2000. 13 and fucking 26. Dean Smith would be ashamed of this horse shit. K owns Roy almost as bad as Dean owned K.

Ucla - Oregon was fun. Dana Altman with the worst second half coaching job of the year though.

Ive seen everyone play multiple times. I still have zero clue how someone can say Lonzo Ball isn't the POY. Just took that game over the last 5 minutes.

Yeah, that game went pretty much like, "Oregon's killing them!" "Oregon has it." "Whoa, WTF?!?!? How'd UCLA take that one?!?"

Not a single team without serious flaws. Probably 15-20 teams who could win a title. I'm pumped for the bracket this year.

Make your free throws, win games. It's a simple formula.

Selection committee just released their current Top 16 teams for the NCAA Tournament field. Obviously doesn't mean all that much, and could change up down the stretch, but pretty interesting.

East Region - New York, NY

#1 - Villanova (1)
#2 - Louisville (7)
#3 - Kentucky (12)
#4 - UCLA (15)

Midwest Region - Kansas City, MO

#1 - Kansas (2)
#2 - Florida State (6)
#3 - Arizona (9)
#4 - Duke (16)

West Region - San Jose, CA

#1 - Gonzaga (4)
#2 - Oregon (8)
#3 - Virginia (10)
#4 - West Virginia (14)

South Region - Memphis, TN

#1 - Baylor (3)
#2 - North Carolina (5)
#3 - Florida (11)
#4 - Butler (13)

Can we just lock this in right now? I'm 100% good with it. lol

Josh Jackson, 31 points including the GW free throw with 2 seconds left. He was 12/15.

Gotta be between he and Lorenzo Ball for #1 overall pick in next year's draft, right?

Markelle Fultz, as of now, is the favorite to go #1.

If Brooklyn gets the #1 pick, it goes to Boston(they have the choice of swapping 1st rounders with BRK, from the Garnett and Pierce deal.

He's the guy in this year's "Ben Simmons" role, where he's considered the top frosh, but plays for a shit coach so he won't sniff the NCAA, right?

Shit, forgot about Fultz.

I haven't seen him play very much, and I know the scouts love him, but I could see ball or JJ pass him up at #1 by the end of the year.

Johnathan Isaac and Dennis Smith as well. Those are probably the top 5, in no order. With Tatum lurking when he decides to play well.

Of all the great, great teams we have seen in the last 40+ years and this Gonzaga team is going to be the one to unseat IU as the most recent team to go undefeated.

Ho hum.

Isaac is not very good lol he obviously seems to transition well to the NBA game and has potential, which scouts love. But you watch him play right now and he doesn't scream NBA top 5 talent. At least imo.

Stacked draft. 9 or 10 of this year's prospects would've been arguably top 3 last year.

I think UC should be in that 16 but regardless they'd be a 5 seed.
