I did some digging into them last night. I didn't know much about the movement. Only that the term is used to mean "anti-fascism." It seems like they were born out of the "safe-space" movement in a university, shortly before Halloween 2015, when a student went on a screaming tirade at one of the school's officials in regard to said official NOT attempting to censor Halloween outfits that might be seen as offensive to some.
