This will be important to remember once the GOP abandons ship after they ruin the country. GOP owns Trump. Republicans have green lighted everything Trump has done so far and approve of Trump.

Trump is a Republican.
Define "ruin the country."

Ah, so ok, you know the R's were in charge the in Congress...not the D's.
D's were only in control of the house until 2010 and Senate 2014.

Thank god we have all this to distract us from the real news out there...namely David Duke's endorsement of Keith Ellison for DNC chair.

This Flynn story is some serious shit for two reasons:

1. I'm interested in what was discussed, but if it was beyond a personal conversation (most likely is, lets be real) then we have a serious problem.

2. I think we all can agree that the NSA has been spying on our own people, which is fucked up alone. They are now blatantly working AGAINST the people. This is a massive slippery slope and why I fucking despise the NSA. The content of Flynn is out there/will come out and the content should be judged regardless of the source. However, if anyone is a fan of liberty they should not be comfortable with what the NSA is doing.

The NSA is worthless. Flynn committed treason having these conversations as a regular citizen. It's ONLY a Trump issue because he's the one that has to deal with the mess.

No.

I just want to make sure everyone knows that Trump is a Republican. The Republicans at some point will start calling him a "Non-Republican" when they turn but I just want to remind everyone, despite what they say, he is a Republican.

When you think Trump, think Republican.

Sure, he's a Republican because that's the platform in our corrupt system that got him in office.

It doesn't change the fact that many, many GOP's currently in high office are sleeping in the same bed and with the same agenda as many, many of the corrupt on the left.

Ryan, Priebus, Spicer and plenty within Congress. They don't claim Trump, they don't support Trump and would help load the gun that takes him out. They are just forced to play-along for the sake of their own political lives.

Good. She was a weak candidate.

This thread is about Donald Trump and him being a Republican.

It has actually been a very good 4 weeks with few exceptions. Hopefully we remain on the track to grow the economy and defend the homeland.

Wait a minute. I didn't think that defense worked.

For reference, see "Obama cleaning up Bush's messes."

Sometimes I wonder if Trump wasn't correct when he said he could shoot someone in front of an audience and not go to prison, because those people just lap up whatever narrative makes him look the best.

The House of Cards is starting to fall apart. Trump's support is dwindling due to scandal after scandal and massive incompetence; SAD!

From The National Reivew (not exactly a 'liberal rag'). Cuts out the speculative BS and lays out what we know and what should happen next if we set partisan politics aside. This was my favorite part.

"If you’re a Republican and find yourself more angry about the leaks than the allegations, ask yourself — how would you feel if the president was a Democrat? Would you be similarly apoplectic about the leaks? Or would you also be concerned about the substance of the claims? Or, if you don’t like hypotheticals, what did you find more outrageous during the 2016 election, the Russian hack of the DNC or the contents of the DNC e-mails?"
