In other words, we should treat individuals in countries as though they will behave the same way prior people from their country did ... because they're from that country.

In context, you're saying this: We should treat the German leaders and people like they're just as prone to attempting military expansion and fascism as they were in the 1920s and 1930s ... just because they're German.

You don't get much more racist than that. That's not a false charge. It's what your own statements tell the world about your beliefs.

gosh a ruddies, you continue to present an argument for ignorance and try to call it tolerance. Nations have histories and only a fool doesn't consider those histories in dealing with those nations. The histories of Russia and Germany should be considered, not ignored. You and your idiot President should reconsider undermining the western alliance.

Alright back to discussing the President and why we are disgusted.

Comey to testify on Thursday, June 8th, regarding his interactions with Trump and potential obstruction of justice. It will be broadcast on C-Span and a variety of other networks live at 10am EST. I encourage anyone who cares about this country to watch the unfiltered testimony from the horse's mouth rather than the spin of your respective news networks. Remember, this testimony will be under oath.

ABC, CBS, NBC would never touch that because it did not fit their liberal viewpoint. They are hoping with all their might that something Comey says will be twistable to their liking, thus they preempt regular programming .......absolutely hilarious.

I predict after Dems (and especially Wolf Blitzer) are disappointed, they will demand Comey be given immunity so he can tell "the whole truth" without fear of incrimination.

This whole Russian collusion thing has, so far, been jumping from one disappointing lead/rumor to the next. They're running out of boogeymen. They are literally down to praying that Trump obstructed an investigation that has, to date, gone nowhere and produced nothing.

No, I've said repeatedly it violated the Logan Act....and that, to my knowledge, no one has ever been prosecuted for doing so....and unlikely given that, in fact, a month later after he was confirmed this would not have been illegal.

And you keep bringing this up, but no one is really talking about that Flynn conversation over sanctions, because it's basically a nothingburger.

Well, if that is your metric then "THE PEOPLE" are still more interested in your newly hated Fox News as the overall ratings through all of primetime nearly combines CNN and MSNBC to get to where FNC is.

So, if THE PEOPLE have spoken by viewing and advertising dollars in your mind, then THE PEOPLE are still much more interested in conservative viewpoints, especially when you add in radio and 3 of the top 5 radio shows in the nation are conservative shows as well (Limbaugh, Ramsey, Hannity).

Fox News has more viewers because they focus on what their audience wants to hear rather than informing the public. This creates a positive feedback loop of viewership and because the news so radically different than reality, reality becomes Fake News.

Here's my hot take. There's no collusion to win the election. There was/is planning to use the position of President to advance business interests of Trump Inc. Maybe that's with Russian money. I do have a hard time dismissing all the contact between Trump associates and Russian agents/affiliates (what' the list now Manafort, Page, Flynn, Sessions, Kushner etc..) I just don't think it was for the purpose of "rigging" the election. They're friendly, and that's weird, and maybe there's something there but I'm just not sold that it's collusion to fix an election. That's lefty fantasy IMO.

What I think is very real is the old "coverup worse than the crime" adage. If Trump did pressure or even ask (as POTUS his requests carry some pretty significant weight) Comey to "lay off Flynn" or fired him "because of this Russia thing" that's pretty damn close to obstruction. That's the issue now to me. Trump may even be right to be frustrated by what amounts to a frivolous investigation but it's an investigation non the less and trying to meddle in it or influence it as POTUS should be viewed very seriously. The merit of the investigation is moot, obstruction is obstruction and the man is often his own worst enemy. Just shut your mouth and this eventually all goes away.
