Bulls have a few cake games to end the season - same with Indiana minus playing Toronto. Miami (a half game back in 9th) on the other hand plays at Toronto and Washington, Cleveland, then Washington again lol.
Hawks already announced that milsap won't be playing tomorrow. Cavs better take care of business, because if they win tomorrow that's essentially a wrap on the 1 seed.

Edit: that's assuming the hawks don't choke tonight away.

They essentially have a 2 games lead, right? Loss tonight by Boston and W tomorrow makes it 3?

Yes. Basically would make the magic # 1 so the Cavs just have to win one more game or have Boston lose a game with 3 remaining.

Thanks, back now and checked out the standings.

I think Indiana could very well beat Boston, if that ends up the 2-7 matchup. Nobody will touch Cleveland the first. Washington could give them some trouble...like a 6 game series of single digit games.

If the Cavs win tonight, that pretty much wraps up the 1 seed. They SHOULD win tonight. Atlanta played last night and Milsap won't be playing tonight. Win this game and rest everyone up to the playoffs. Also, I think out of all the teams, Toronto will cause the most problems for the Cavs. As for the first round, I would still prefer to avoid a team that has a superstar. Give me the Heat, but it most likely will be Indiana, because the Bulls have a very light schedule to end the season.

I can see Boston losing to the bucks/pacers/bulls in the first round. Hell, even the Hawks will give them a very difficult time.

2nd quarter has been awful.

Losing by 9 points against a .500 team without multiple starters.

Inexcusable. If Lue hadn't won it last yr, I'd consider firing his ass.

It's their effort that pisses me off so often. Like just try hard. They thought they were gonna just jack 3s all night, running no offense and the Hawks were just gonna lay down for them.

I hate the Warriors, but those guys play so hard every game. They hate losing. I respect that.

Last night sucks, and I get that. But the fact that they put forth the playoff effort and housed the Celtics at their place, makes me still comfortable with them being able to literally flip the switch when they want. Why they didn't last night? I can only assume when they saw before the game who wasn't playing, that intensity went out the window.

Liggins waived today. Varejao's name is being tossed around to replace him.

This team is full of awful decision makers at end of games. Almost every night you can count on an idiotic foul while someone is shooting. It was LeBron tonight

This sums it up.

Terrible decision making and low effort. Cavs are going to lose.

I agree. Tired of seeing his open mouth-stare while things are crumbling around him.
