So this game should answer that question of "Can the Cavs just turn on the defense when it matters?!?!". Yes. Yes the Cavs can. Pretty clear the defensive intensity picked up big time so far.

Give me the team without a star that can take over a game in the first round.
Indiana has one and Chicago has two. I'll pass on Chicago. There is nobody on Miami's roster that scare me.
Also these refs are the trash in this game.
Fuck, I hadn't heard that. Nevermind. Indiana is who I'd want to face the least. Ideally, Atlanta continues to slide. They've looked awful lately. But I think Cleveland would sweep any of those four anyways.

Yeah, I was surprised myself. It was announced mid afternoon. The bulls have a very light schedule to end the season. It wouldn't shock me if they get the 6 seed. I would love for Boston and Indiana to meet in the first round though.friendfromlowry;1846060 wrote:Fuck, I hadn't heard that. Nevermind. Indiana is who I'd want to face the least. Cavs looked real tough last night...and how about that Larry Sanders eating up a few minutes?

Larry Sanders is the answer. Those 4 minutes he played when the Cavs were up nearly 30 were a game changer. Hopefully TT doesn't return this season and is traded for peanuts next year.

Sleeper getting triggered by BR half heartedly mentioning Larry Sanders. Who didn't see that coming from a mile away?

What did I say about the D-league contingent at the start of the season? And what happened during the season? Reality.
Enjoy!

Sweet, what once was a nice thread to come to to get cavs info is now a trash thread because sleeper is a fucking moron troll who is ruins everything he touches with this new personality of his.

The irony is real. I'd rather stick with discussing the Cavs rather than everyone pile on me because they can't stand that I'm correct and they are not.

I've always been opposed to threadbans and blocking posters, I'm reconsidering in this thread with sleeper.
As for the game, yeah who knew once you took driving lanes away from IT and he has to shoot jumpers Boston would turn into a shit team? It's almost like what a few of us have said in here before, why in the fuck doesn't the league take note? Exactly why IT should never be a max player, or an MVP candidate.

Yeah I'm also considering a thread ban on COA, S&L, and LT. Like who the fuck are you? LOLCommander of Awesome;1846133 wrote:I've always been opposed to threadbans and blocking posters, I'm reconsidering in this thread with sleeper.

Anyways, I'm here to discuss the Cavs. Sorry if you get butthurt that I don't slobber Sanders and the rest of the D-league contingent.

Probably because the top teams dgaf until the playoffs. Let Boston pay him the max. It would bring the lulz.Commander of Awesome;1846133 wrote:I've always been opposed to threadbans and blocking posters, I'm reconsidering in this thread with sleeper.

Boston travels to Atlanta tonight. It would be nice if they lose and the cavs beat Atlanta (coming off their game against the Celtics) tomorrow. That would pretty much wrap up the 1 seed and they can rest their guys.

Sorry, man. Troll move on my part. I knew all I'd have to do was say "Larry Sanders" and that would set him off.SportsAndLady;1846130 wrote:Sweet, what once was a nice thread to come to to get cavs info is now a trash thread because sleeper is a fucking moron troll who is ruins everything he touches with this new personality of his.

Second night of a back-to-back on the road for Boston. Could bode well for the Cavs.like_that;1846144 wrote:Boston travels to Atlanta tonight. Has there been any mention as to why Derick Williams minutes have been drastically cut yet (other than Lue's wife) ? I'd rather have him out there than Shumpert. I hope Shump's minutes go WAY down during playoffs.

Williams is more of an energy guy rather than a consistent 3 and D player you get in Shump. I don't think Williams will play much in playoff time but he certainly will get more minutes than the D league contingent.Benny The Jet;1846158 wrote:Has there been any mention as to why Derick Williams minutes have been drastically cut yet (other than Lue's wife) ? The only time Shumpert should be shooting is when he's driving to the lane for a dunk. His 3pt shooting the last 2 months has been about 30%, and he's a turnover machine. He has relied heavily on the old assumption that he's a great defensive player. He hasn't been that at all the last few months.sleeper;1846166 wrote:Williams is more of an energy guy rather than a consistent 3 and D player you get in Shump. I'm not a fan of Shumpert but he's better than Williams and therefore he will make the rotation instead of him.Benny The Jet;1846177 wrote:The only time Shumpert should be shooting is when he's driving to the lane for a dunk. Obviously you'd want him healthy, but gotta assume he can still rebound and defend with injured thumb. At least it's not to a scorerCommander of Awesome;1846262 wrote: ESPN Cleveland‏ @ESPNCleveland

Hawks taking care of Boston tonight. Eastern standings are getting pretty interesting. Bulls and Pacers tied for 7th/8th right now. Bulls have a few cake games to end the season - same with Indiana minus playing Toronto. Miami (a half game back in 9th) on the other hand plays at Toronto and Washington, Cleveland, then Washington again lol.
