Would there still be a day off for travel between games 4 and 5? Also, fuck game 5, lets just fucking end this thing.iclfan2;1814454 wrote:If it's postponed it's really gonna screw up relievers rest between 4 and 5. From what I read it greatly favors Boston for this game to be postponed than the Indians.

Officially postponed. 3 games in a row now. Let's just win the next one. Rotation is staying the same, but I wonder if they've thought about skipping Tomlin.

I like the order of Tomlin, Bauer, Kluber. If it ends in 3 or 4, Kluber starts 1,4, & 7 in the ALCS. If it goes 5, you have Kluber pitching the deciding game.

Danny Salazar threw 35 pitches, all fastballs in a bullpen session today. Salazar could be cleared for bullpen duty in the ALCS if the Indians should make it there.
Game number four if necessary is scheduled for Tuesday at either 6 or 8 PM

Game 4 won't be necessary...time for Celveland to get ready for Toronto

As worried as we may be about Tomlin, I would suspect Boston fans are just as leery of Buchholz. Both finished the season stringing together a few good starts but were hot/cold the whole season.
Can it just be 6 o'clock already???

So pumped for tonight. Don't expect Tomlin to pitch anything less than 4 ER, if he lasts long enough. Expect Boston to put up 6, but also think we can get our fair share. Hoping for like a 5-4 lead after 5, then we bullpen it to an 8-6 win.

I think Tito manages this one like a game 7. If Tomlin is in trouble in the 3rd or 4th...I think he'll have somebody ready. I think if he gives us 4 or 5...3 ER or less...I'd be happy with it and I think Tito will pull him. Unless he is really dealing...I'd be surprised if he sees the lineup the 3rd time through.Laley23;1814734 wrote:So pumped for tonight. This has to be good news, right!?!
Winds are forecasted to be northerly with gusts to 30 mph at Fenway Park. Only 3 of the 198 homers were hit into a north wind this year

Santana with the mile high pop up that the wind pushes into the infield for a hit (misplayed, probably error). Kipnis ks and now Lindor with a single.

I might have to put this game on mute and turn on the radio.

Nice defense by Jose. Scoreless through 3. Tribe has had men on but just can't string anything together.

I remember lurking on an Indians thread a week or so back and reading someone (laley maybe?) say that it should NEVER be used. lol I remember laughing. The bunt definitely has its usage in baseball.iclfan2;1814780 wrote:Where are the bunt haters

Laley hates the bunt. So do I. Just don't like giving him an out and playing for 2 runs when if Crisp gets a hit...it could set us up for a very crooked number and put it out a reach with a 4 or 5 spot.
Especially hate it with Naquin and Perez coming up. But...Naquin delivers.
