So true....baseball is a crazy, amazing game. Remember our concerns about Naquin's defense early in the year? ...and yet here he is starting what was arguably the best and most critical defensive play of the game. Remember our concerns about Perez when Gomes went down... the front office was ready to mortgage the farm for Lucroy....and yet the guy with the sub Mendoza line average, turns out to be an offensive hero in his first post season game.like_that;1814152 wrote:Good win last night. Two critical situations occurred where the Tribe could have broken that game open last night and failed....were normally spots where the lefty killing Guyer would have batted. If he is not on the roster, that might be the biggest mistake of the series.

^^^whew...I have no idea why he left Chisenhall bat against Pomerantz.

Guyer is supposed to be starting today with a lefty starter. Was wondering about pinch hitting too.

If there is a save situation I wouldn't be surprised to see otero get the call with Allen and miller throwing so many pitches last night. I love that Tito went all out last night to get that first win. Especially with kluber going today.
