Plenty of obstacles this season for the Tribe. Hard to imagine they would have been here without Michael Brantley...plus all the other injuries. First division title and first trip to the ALDS since 2007. First appearance in postseason play since 2013 WC game. The Indians will trot out a 3 man rotation for this series. Tomlin for game 3. Bauer will go on short rest in game 4 and Kluber would start a potential game 5 on normal rest. Boston hasn't decided who will pitch game 3 and 4...it'll be some order of Eduardo Rodriguez and Clay Buchholz.
Game 1- Thursday at 8
Trevor Bauer (12-8 4.26 ERA) vs Rick Porcello (22-4 3.15 ERA)
Game 2- Friday at 4:30
Corey Kluber (18-9 3.14 ERA) vs David Price (17-9 3.99 ERA)
Anybody heading to the park to take in some playoff baseball? Should be an electric atmosphere. I will be at Games 1 and 2. Can't wait. Let's go Tribe!

I'll be at game one...can't wait! I went to three playoff games in 2007 and the WC game in 2013. Love the atmosphere in the whole city and especially in the park.

If they squeeze the zone when Ortiz is up I would just drill him.
I'm going to closely watch the consistency of the strike zone this series. I hope it's similar for both team but predicting it won't be.
Hopefully the Cleveland thing keeps going thru this series. I feel the Red Sox have several PED guys (Ortiz, Hanley, Kelly...) and MLB wants them to win it all. I greatly hope I'm wrong.

I have a hard time believing that Ortiz didn't take any enhancers.Ironman92;1813674 wrote:If they squeeze the zone when Ortiz is up I would just drill him.

I'm to the point that really no matter what...I believe and will always believe he is dirty. He plays the happy go lucky great guy role and as soon as an ump calls a borderline pitch on him he complains and if he goes on to strikeout he destroys stuff in the dugout.like_that;1813677 wrote:I have a hard time believing that Ortiz didn't take any enhancers.
You don't put up HOF numbers during your career then get to age 40 and put up the best numbers of your career while leading all of baseball in OPS and Slug%...by significant margins.

Had two people bail on me for tomorrow so I have two extras.
Section 128- Row R. I just threw them up on Stubhub but will sell to an OC'er for face value. PM if interested.

Cheapest tickets in the upper deck were like 60. Bleachers were a little more. Outfield lowers were $90, I think. Mine are $125 and lower bowl in between the dugouts were probably $175-ish, I think.Benny The Jet;1813854 wrote:Won't be going...just curious what face is for playoffs?
Face value on these is $125. I'd like to get $130 to cover the fees I had to pay per ticket but I'd take $125 each.Crimson streak;1813861 wrote:My brother might be interested how much?

Mine are on Stubhub...I have them listed at $173- very competitive. I'm just trying to get rid of them. I didn't buy them to make money and at this point, I just want what I paid for them and to be done with it.Ironman92;1813868 wrote:About $180 in that area on stubhub

Yeah, very fair. The section I looked at wasn't quite as good as your tickets.TBone14;1813872 wrote:Mine are on Stubhub...I have them listed at $173- very competitive.
