Steelers had VIck..who man he just sucked and Jones played some and didnt do badly. They do have a former starter from Tenn....Mettenberger or something like that. WIth them strapped for cap space like most years its tough to get a solid backup. At least they have one who was a former starter in the league.

Romo, if he can stay healthy for more than 1.5 possessions, would be a better short-term QB than Jones. But with the way Jerry Jones loves him, he'd probably ask for 2-3x what he's actually worth. And when you add in his contract, no. Just no.
