How do you have Washington over Michigan? Michigan lost on a last second FG to a 4 loss team on the road while Washington lost at home by 13 to a 3 loss team......I would like to call those losses even if you don't mind.
Let's say Stanford cracks the top 25 at #23 this week and Utah sits as high as #12.....those are Washington's best wins. Michigan has defeated Wisconsin who will be no worse than #6-7 AND Colorado who will be right around #10.....AND destroyed top 10 Penn State.
If you are aware of all of that (fair enough if you haven't delved into it) I see no way Washington can be above Michigan this week.

If Michigan beats Ohio State and then Wisconsin again and Colorado continues winning...
Michigan could end with 2 wins over a #10ish Wisconsin, a win over a #7-8 OSU on the road, a blowout wins versus about #8 Penn State and a 17 point victory vs a #7ish Colorado team.
That wold be quite impressive and put them at #2 in playoff rankings

Michigan and Louisville are tight IMO. Louisville clearly the better loss but 1 top 15 blowout win over FSU while Mich has 3 top 11 wins by 17 over Colorado, beat top 7 Wisconsin and destroyed top 10 Penn Stslingshot4ever;1824250 wrote:this if you switch 5 and 6

I don't think OSU gets left out, even if they're not playing in the B1G title game...but, if they do, that'll be the second year in a row a Michigan loss keeps us from the B1G title game and playoffs. Which would really fucking suck.

Michigans loss IMO was way worse than Washingtons. A 5-4 Iowa team held you to 201 yards of offense? USC is a top 10 with Darnold at QB and has looked awesome since making the switchIronman92;1824246 wrote:I'll bite.

Wisconsin ahead of Washington is funny lol
Also, I'm not opposed to Louisville at #3.

It seems like the coaches/AP are starting to adapt the mindset of the committee. They seem to care less about head-to-head and more about how teams are playing at the moment, or even overall resume. Washington's OOC SOS is killing them, and the fact that Clemson should have lost about 4 times already is in the mind of the voters too.

Stfu. It's one game. They don't do the rankings based only on head to head. Open your eyes.Classyposter58;1824264 wrote:Clemson beats Louisville and the coaches rank them lower lol

2nd highest ranked SEC team is 16th, LSU.

Makes me more confident that OSU could beat Bama if that game happens. Bama is really good, probably the best team in the country. But they haven't played a very tough schedule. They're beating up on some bad and overrated teams.wildcats20;1824270 wrote:2nd highest ranked SEC team is 16th, LSU.

Way worse lol. Washington lost by 13 at home to a team with 3 losses. The whole season counts...period.Classyposter58;1824258 wrote:Michigans loss IMO was way worse than Washingtons. You ignoring the 3 top 11 wins by Michigan whereas Washington has 0?

I don't agree with this at all. OSU in the title year looked awful with Barrett, but improved to become college footballs best. USC will probably run the table and get a Rose Bowl berth at 10-3. You have to take into account how teams like Penn State, LSU and USC had an immediate improvement from a certain pointIronman92;1824292 wrote:Way worse lol. No you don't. The whole idea for college football is body of work. It's exciting because every game is supposed to count for something.Classyposter58;1824294 wrote:I don't agree with this at all. I can't see the winner of OSU v UM not in the playoffs. (baring a loss in the title game if PSU is not there)

Based on it not being deserved or because you don't believe they could beat the Huskies? Based on the admittedly too small sample size of last night, Washington wouldn't piss a drop against Bucky.SportsAndLady;1824263 wrote:Wisconsin ahead of Washington is funny lol
