Congratulations to the Bobcats for making the playoffs! I just checked Joe Eitel today, and it looks like they're #1 in the region and guaranteed a playoff spot.
Northwestern is #3 in the region and controls their own destiny.
Chippewa is still in it, too, as they're #8 there.
Hillsdale, Smithville, and Dalton are all top-10 in Region 21. Hillsdale's last two opponents are Smithville and Dalton. My guess is that if anyone wins out, they'll probably end up in.
This could end up being an exciting playoff picture!

I would imagine that the Smithville JV will see some action later in the game. lol. Waynedale always plays tough against Smithville. Hoping the Smithies remember the whooping that Waynedale gave them last year!!!

O-Trap. My best guess is that 3 WCAL teams make the playoffs. 2 in Div 5 and 1 in Div 6.

Word has it that the weekly party at "The Farm" ended in some pumpkin theft, mailbox smashing and property destruction, resuting in being caught by the Sheriff! Bears are still riding high after last weeks win & if they keep up the momentum it could be a close game but at Smithville anything could happen.
As long as were not out coached we should be in the game.

The boys involved have to sit out first half of the game. I do wish the young boys could have behaved themselves!!!! This game might be very close now!

Such a harsh punishment. Fighting fir their playoff lives. In 96, Waynedale had the same issue and sat all kids involved. Smithville had a similar situation in the mid nineties but drinking was involved and suspended players during a play off run. I do not condone this behavior but I remember my playing days and some of the things that we as players got away with! (we were smart enough to not get caught!!!) lol.

How many Smithie Varsity sat? I heard 11-18 kids? Was it 2?
Im very curious to hear the answer. The halftime score surprised me, as I thought quite a few kids were out, maybe Im wrong.
So is it safe to say Norwayne rests their starters and plays their JV's? (Depeneding on what Smithville did in the 1st half)
Are area kids THAT superior to our kids? I dont buy it.
Last year we were 4th in WCAL in FB. Made playoffs and lost.

Clearly this is an atrocity. Seems we get worse as the season goes on. The losses are larger. (See above and below)

Have to give a lot of credit to coach dial at Dalton, quite a turnaround. They control their own destiny for the playoffs with northwestern looming Friday. The huskies have clinched playoff home game and can't win the league....maybe rest a couple guys??
