As for the picks:

Smithville over Rittman
Chippewa over Waynedale by at least 30
Norwayne over Dalton
Northwestern over Hillsdale
HUH? By at least 30? I think this is The Bears upset special! You heard it here first!

We don't have better athletes then we had in the past, just that the kids believe in him, he has turned this program into something that the kids want to part of it is pretty special when you get a person who can bring out the best of our young adults when they have so many other options that require allot less effort. Tell your boys to strap it on for week 8, it will be a dogfight. Good luck to your boys the rest of the season, hope all stay healthy and see you week 8!
This is a great observation, last three seasons we had x's and o's and jimmy and joes, this year not so many jimmy and joes (line is good) but Bohley has definitely made a huge difference in this schools desire to play the sport.

Agreed, and since Tom Williams came to town, it's been tough to ever count them out.

Looks like Hillsdale and Northwestern are Very good teams this year, I think Norwayne, Chippewa, and Dalton could the next tier and then Smithville and Waynedale and Rittman at the bottom. Smithies are just too vunerable to the pass!!! this is going to hurt them.

I didn't get a chance to watch the game, as I was out of town last week, but I listened to it on WQKT.com, and from what I heard, I have to agree on their weakness. It sounded like their weakness was covering the big pass.

Not sure where that puts them in the conference, but it definitely seems like a hole.

Beast think you owe me $42.00, totally agree that there is some talent on that 0-5 team. Made my way to your half of the field to meet up with some old friends and everyone of them said we would blow you out, halftime adjustments they say is a very weak, sure hold true tonight. Also heard that the family will not step down, really didn't understand and halftime seemed short. Looked like you had a big crowd though, ours must of stayed home or at the Bonnieville bar(as waclfan puts its). Just a question beast, does this family control the board or the AD? to me just hearing people talk it seems that the people above are not doing their jobs? Great place to play, hope we can build a stadium like that someday. Good luck with the rest of your season.

Bears took it on the chin as did the Bulldogs. Smithies won as expected but I was shocked by the large margin of victory by the Huskies over the Falcons.

After beating both the Smithies and Falcons fairly soundly, I'd say Northwestern runs away with the league this year. Thut has that team firing on all cylinders.

O-Trap, I think Norwayne may give Northwestern a run for their money! still a lot of season yet. The forecast says rain on Friday and that may play roll in some of the outcomes.

It's possible, but it sounds like Norwayne isn't the same Norwayne we've come to expect in recent years. That isn't to say they can't do it, of course. I just don't think they're the favorite.

I could see that game this week going either way.

NW over Waynedale... #1 WCAL v #8 WCAL
Hillsdale over Rittman... by 3 scores
Chippewa over Dalton...by 2 scores
Norwayne over Smithville... by 2 scores
I think Norwayne will compete tough against NW when they meet! Black River and Norwayne look very equal, and NW earned a hard fought 35-27 over the Pirates. Region 18 will be fun to watch come playoffs!!

Can you please give me your thoughts on 2-8, 6-4, 0-10, 6-4 7-4(? HOW?) and here we are at 0-5.

In the last 7 years we have averaged 5th place in the league. We made the playoffs last year as 4th in the wcal. We've never had a 7 year streak of No titles or runner ups...til now.

Think you know what he means Beast, its the kids!!! Never once will he say it's the talent under the headsets. Let him live in his own little world at least he is sort of keeping to himself (cause he knows he is staring 0-10 straight in the eye) and there may be no defense for his boy then. Good luck tonight and try to make it a game!! Also can someone call the game into the paper? disrespectful to the away team when you don't, we had a kid break a 97 yarder. The kid would of liked to have seen that in the local paper, but someone over there was butt hurt. Grow up!
