Can you charge people to Skype with them?

Long story short… I have a friend who makes a living giving advice. I asked him if he ever considered using Skype, book appointments online, do a face to face thing from the computer then use paypal to bill the person, (or take donations) for his services. He didn't know if Skype allowed it to be used to make money like that.

I would think there would be many businesses who could take advantage of Skype this way… Lawyers, ministers, etc. Does Skype let you do this?

I've been told that some voice-over artists use Skype to record commercials over the Internet for clients, so that client can direct them from the other end. That counts as making money using Skype, doesn't it?

I agree. It would be interesting to find out if there is a fee to pay Skype to use it that way.
