I heard on the radio that he will be practicing with the team today for the first time since his injury. There is a "slim" chance that he will play against Indiana.

Well thats good new for the buckeyes. I really hope Evan can return and atleast play with about 80% of where he was earlier this season. From everything I have read he is a good kid and loves OSU I hope he either returns next year or can raise his draft stock back up to where it was before the injury.

Didn't an article (not AP or anything too official) come out a few weeks ago targeting an early-mid January return, weeks ahead of schedule?

I think I read about it online. To be honest, if he's not here for the first wave of Big 10 games thats fine, but if he comes back, and leads us to victory against West Virginia, we're almost guaranteed to be in the tournament baring another horrific injury to anyone.

His mom is smart! No reason to rush this. As much as he's itching to play, he needs to see the big picture. There are millions waiting for him, so he better not rush it to ruin that.

I am sure he, Matta and the OSU team doctors are well aware of the situation and have Turner in their best interest. This isn't middle school.
If he is healthy enough to play, and there is no worry for any further injury..and wants to play, he should. The injury, as I and others have stated, was not nearly as serious as it sounds.

I understand that about the injury, but if he feels like he can play with a slight pain he probably can. But he might end up trying to overcome the pain by altering the way he plays and I wouldn't want to see that.

I do agree though that everyone sees the big picture and isn't going to risk him any further injury.
