Nova has had "the look" the entire tournament and UNC pretty much has as well. I think UNC's length and offensive rebounding will be the difference. It should be a close game. Hoping Nova can pull it off.
Carolina got pretty fortunate after beating Indiana to draw Notre Dame and Syracuse in the next two rounds, but if they win a title, they will certainly have earned it after beating Villanova. Nova, as you said, has looked like a champion throughout the entire tournament. They have destroyed everyone, with the exception of Kansas, but the win against the Jayhawks was just as impressive.
Carolina should have a size advantage, which could lead to success on the offensive glass, but Nova has a lot of versatile, athletic wing players that could really give the Heels problems. The Nova defense, as a whole, is outstanding. If Carolina isn't making some shots, they could be in trouble. Should be a great game in my opinion.
North Carolina is 5-1 against Villanova in the NCAA Tournament, the lone loss coming during Nova's 1985 title run. The last two national title runs for Carolina have included a Sweet 16 victory over Nova in 2005, a Final Four victory in 2009, and now they'll face them in the title game. A little bit of history that bodes well for both teams, I suppose.
