Definition of domestic abuse: pattern of behavior which involves violence or other abuse by one person against another in a domestic setting, such as in marriage or cohabitation. Intimate partner violence (IPV) is violence by a spouse or partner in an intimate relationship against the other spouse or partner. Domestic violence can take place inheterosexual and same-sex family relationships, and can involve violence against children in the family or, in some U.S. states, violence against a roommate.[SUP][1]

I think we are all overreacting here guise.

ESPN guy said Bell was last suspended due to drug related but not failed test...if it was failed test last time and then again now he would be getting more.

I just don't understand how you can be so damn dumb.

Right on par with goodells arbitrary procedures. This should be a 10 game suspension.

It does make sense to skip a test knowing he already had a 4-game suspension for a positive test, and that the next one would be a possible year suspension. Then again, if a prior offender skips a future test, the punishment should be equivalent to failing one. Sounds like they view a skipped test as a different type of violation, which only starts at another 4-game suspension.

Yeah, I have to admit this is confusing to me. I mean, with Brady, Goodell essentially ignored actual science and the lack of definite proof to hand out a four-game suspension based on him having a gut feeling that something illegal must have happened somewhere and Brady maybe, kinda probably might have either had a hand in it, or at least knew other guys might be doing something. But here, a dodged test and an illegal test are different things with different punishment scales and no gut feelings on why the test was skipped can come into play, apparently.

Does the NFL release their bylaws on this stuff or is it completely an executive decision based on each case? Like for USADA or WADA, they have clear punishment for just failing to report your address or location to be notified of a test.

It makes sense, but it's bullshit the way the NFL set it up. Arbitrary at best. A skipped test should = an automatic failed test.

Well, says the police witnessed him striking the player and he avoided jail time for assault and battery by taking a plea bargain.

The MSU football player was dismissed from the team and asked to transfer because he wanted a bigger role on the team and just wasn't very good.

I'm a clown? If the police witness an assault against someone, he only pays $560 and claims it was self-defense, and then it's dropped, should he even have been arrested to begin with? I never said he isn't a moron, my whole point was that "Draymond Green assaults someone" was a headline to do exactly what it did, make the news. As for the player, I never saw it mentioned why he transferred.

No different than this Elliott stuff. A headline during a slow period.

It would make more sense to quit fucking smoking weed for a few years and greatly reap the benefits of a lifetime of fortune.

Or fuck it and just smoke weed during your one gd opportunity to make it big.

I'm not calling you a clown. You're one of my favorite posters on here, I just like fucking with you on some of your hot takes. Lol

As for your post, the case wasn't dropped lol there was a plea deal. AKA, the cops offered preferential treatment to an NBA player about to play in the Olympics and allowed him to strike a plea deal.

Besides, this whole thing was started by you saying that he probably didn't even touch the guy, and that the guy made it all up because it was a chance for him to go to tmz with a story. But this article clearly says the cops witnessed the assault lol so it DID happen.

At the same time, if I took the beating an NFL RB did, it's possible that weed is one of the only thing that is of some relief. It's pretty ridiculous that the rules are what they are, but agreed, until they are changed, you're costing yourself and your team by doing it.

It's illegal and your livelihood the next 50+ years depends on it. He isn't taking a beating now, he isn't doing anything but smoking weed. Hell with him.

Many employers have some sort of drug policy. Some you lose your job. Local company tests for tobacco and even if you are around too much second hand smoke you can get popped.

Bell is a fucking idiot. He didn't learn his lesson from last time. I guess I just don't understand why one would want to risk a multi-million dollar career for that shit. Just shows that stupid knows no bounds.

No doubt. With Bell missing 4, Bryant gone for the season, Brown a smallish dude who can get rocked and injured and Ben getting older........have a feeling this season is not going to be the best. Is about time one of those two go down for awhile.
