I don't know - when I was in high school, everyone applied to Ohio State because it was a guaranteed acceptance. The roster of names from my class that went there was a who's who of the Shop Class. I realize Gee changed the admission standards since then. But calling a land grant institution "the Big Stage" is a stretch to say the least.
