On the bright side, all we need for next year is a QB, a couple of receivers, possibly a TE (Barnidge is a free agent on the wrong side of 30 and probably goes wherever he gets paid), and a complete overhaul of the defense, running game, front office, and coaching staff.

I think the 1999 Browns would beat this year's team.

How bad is this team? Even Vegas can't get a grip. The Browns have lost 15 of their last 17 and 7 in a row. But over the last 6 losses, the Browns lost against the spread by more than 10 points in every game. That's right...against the spread they lost by double digits. That has to be a record. Haslam is a gutless swine in not pulling the plug on this buffoon. Make Flip the interim coach, and get rid of Pettine and O'Neal. Don't care who runs the defense.

Also, mandate to Flip that Manziel starts the rest of the season.

Next year, whatever it takes to bring in either Jackson or Chuckie.

Mrs Hits and I have already decided that if JFF is NOT starting again, we aren't going to go.

...and to be frank Footwedge, I don't think Flip is a bargain either. The offense is uncoordinated. I am not sure there is one competent coach on the staff that you could turn the team over to. That may be the only reason that Pettine hasn't been fired already.

That said, I'll take Flip over Pettine in a heart beat.

Flip ia nowhere near qualified but someone needs to be interim coach.

Hate to bust your bubble but the quarterback IS presently on the roster and he wears number 2. And...,he's gonna be damn good. This team should peddle the number 1 overall and draft everywhere BUT quarterback.

If Haslam doesn't can Pettine after today then he should sell the team. For the second week in a row the stadium was half empty. You can thank the sanctimonious asshat that thinks he's running a convent instead of coaching a professional football team. Their will be a lotmore people in attendance next week if Johnny plays...AND...Pettine is gone.

No he's not. He sucks. Unless Farmer miraculously survives another year, Manziel won't be on the 2016 roster.

You say he sucks. And you base it on what? He's played really well this year and if you can't see that then YOU suck. I've got 100 bucks that says he's on the roster next season. Put your money where your mouth is.

If it's any consolation to FW, JFF is good at dancing & drinking champagne.
