To not see the field with 3 WRs hurt just makes me scratch my head. Not that I think Bowe is a world beater and SHOULD be playing, but you have to admit this coupled with many other playing time in consistencies with other players is just odd. Never seen anything like it before.
I remember the same thing happened with Chad Ochocinco when he went from the Bengals to the Pats.....maybe Bowe isn't that good at running routes, or knowing the playbook well enough. But, seeing as our team is pretty much garbage, it's still mind blowing that he's not out there at all.

What part of a 125.8 QB rating do you not understand?

That BBC announcer is great listening!

"treated like vegetables on a child's dinner plate"

"Browns fans must feel gutted" <----that's about right

You have to wonder what would have to happen for Haslam to fire Pettine on the spot. Two clusterf@ck years ... Poor personnel decisions, multiple incidents of clock mismanagement, underperforming 'strengths' of the team ... Like the defense and the offensive line.... Delusional statements like " we are a 'run first' team. What else does he have to f@ck up before Haslam takes action?

Schefter tweeted something about the Cowboys looking to acquire Manziel later on. Maybe Cleveland is just keeping him around and not risking injury so they can trade him later.

Reading Pettine's statements and rationale this morning.... and the angrier and more frustrated I've become. So Mike, the third string quarterback on the roster this season, is now the best chance for this team to win??
The QB situation is now week to week?... More like WEAK and WEAKER. I think this guy is suffering from some traumatic stress disorder... Either that or Browns fans are.

I was thinking about this and maybe the best thing is to NOT play Manziel going forward. He has shown enough glimpses to give Jerry Jones a chub. Why ruin it by showing he actually sucks? Have heard the possibility of bleeding a 3rd or 4th rounder out of Jones for JFF. I thought he had no value but if you can get that, DONE DEAL. Jones is like the battered wife/girlfriend who thinks he can "change" the abusive husband/boyfriend in these misfit relationships. Let him have this headache.

I'm just counting down the days until the first week in January. Pettine will be gone. He's in over his head. He might grow into a decent head coach some day, but not now.

I'm hoping more & more that they deem one of these QB's a franchise guy and can persuade Hue Jackson to coach this team. He's kind of a miracle worker with QB's. If he can shine that ginger "turd" in Cincinnati and get a rag tag Raiders team, lead by Jason Campbell (before he got injured) to 8-8, there has to be SOMETHING there.

Keep Pettine, fire farmer and o neill. We do this way to often. I would rather keep a coach for more than a year or two and look terrible than to continuously switch out the head coach for another terrible coach. Switching coaxes every year does nothing. Sorry to say. And I'm not really a pett guy.

Keep Pettine
Can't do it. His ego is way too big for Cleveland right now. This guy has made everything about him and his feelings first, and the football team second.

He turns everything into a personal issue, and it makes it impossible for him to deal with the day to day realities of coaching.

Not to mention that he is the most stubborn coach in the history of Cleveland sports. It is just not a package you can win with at all in this league.

The week to week thing is beyond infuriating.

How on earth can you see what you have in any young QB (johnny or Davis) if you are promising them ahead of time they will be replaced the next week if they don't play like prime Tom Brady.

It is shear madness to try and operate an NFL team like this, and it is why no other teams insist on handling the QB position like Pettine wants to.

Agree with this. Not to mention Pettine often throws his players under the bus, in press conferences, and never say a thing about O'Neil and his shitty scheme.

Who the fuck cares? We will fire Pettine, and then what? Hire another coach that doesn't do well his first two years and we fire him. It's an endless cycle. Pett started 7-4, he knows how to win, we just need to get rid of O neill and farmer.

If you get the right general manager in here, you'll get the right coach. I'd love for them to bring in a Bill Polian or Bill Parcells, as a consultant, to select the next GM and analyze football operations.

Yeah, let's get bill fucking polian to come in and analyze football operations for the Cleveland Browns. I'm sure he would love to leave his cushy job at ESPN to come work for one of the saddest franchises since their return.

Anything else you want to spew out of your ass mr duck?

Pretty sure the Lions got Ernie Accorsi to come in as a consultant for them. These consultant deals aren't always full time gigs where he'd have to give up a job at ESPN.

And exactly how is hoping something could happen "spewing something out your ass?" You're the one coming across as the lone moron wanting to KEEP Pettine. He's a shitty coach who benefitted from a cake ass schedule last year.

Oh no, another shitty coach in Cleveland let's fire them all and hire more shitty people! Worked out well for the bengals!
