Didn't the report say 14 shots were fired after the suspect had already fallen to the ground?

Usually I am on the side of the fact that shooting the entire clip out is fine. In a lot of training. BUT there was quite the pause in shots, and the man was clearly down and not going anywhere. Then he unleashed again. I just can't find the justification in that.

I haven't seen a video with sound so I am only going off sight, but it looks like there was 2 shots while the guy was withering on the ground with his hands tucked into his stomach. but then there is at least one shot while he is clearly isn't moving.

there is no set number, you shoot until there is no longer a threat. without knowing how many shots were fired when, i'd say a guy with a knife probably is no longer a threat when he falls to the ground.

You're right, because I've never taken PCP. I realize that there is no set number of shots that will take a person down. Every situation and person is different. But judging by this video, the guy went down within the first couple of shots. Hell, the officer kicked the knife away ten seconds after the guy hit the ground, thus eliminating the threat. To me, it looks excessive. Thankfully, the State agrees.

Rahm fired the police chief, not sure if it was warranted and what control the police chief had over the situation, but Rahm is a piece of shit and always will be a piece of shit.

The chief has little say in this situation. The DA already saw the video a year ago and could have charged the cop then. the chief doesn't decide those things.

There was nothing racist about the comment whatsoever; it is simply fact. There are also more and more white kids without fathers in the home and the lack of personal responsibility and respect for authority on the part of many youths is rising.
