Actually, they may be bringing him in for both.....mainly as a WR but also as their emergency/3rd QB in case of another injury.sleeper;1766850 wrote:As a WR? If so, that's a good pickup. If its for QB, I'd take him over Manziel but I'd take pretty much any player over Manziel. Hell, Joe Thomas one day 1 is a better QB than Manziel will ever be.

Jim Marshall did that for the Vikings back in the '70's; can't remember if it cost them the game.

Why would the Bengals not kneel down if they are up by 3 points on the last play of the game?Gardens35;1766797 wrote:This coming weekend....on the last play of the game.........a Brown's lineman picks up a fumble and rumbles 65 yards untouched into the wrong end zone. Them losing in the grand scheme of things is better, but I can't believe NOBODY Was talking about the fact that dude stepped out of bounds on the final play.

And there was a major block in the back as he was running down the sidelines ..... on top of offsides.

On another note , Gary Barnidge was named the Browns Walter Payton man of the year.

They won because they had the second greatest qb (behind Johnny) of all time, Fran Tarkenton.BRF;1766991 wrote:It was 1964 and the Vikings won that game.

There is no dumber coach to ever roam the sidelines. He can't count to 10 if you spotted him the first nine numbers. How many times has he screwed up time management in his 2 years here? How many players has he cut that he either re-signed, or they turned out 10 times better than the people he kept? How many times has he started the wrong player? And he claims that he is "tasked to win football games" but his personal vendetta against Manziel suddenly changes all that.
The stadium was half empty on national tv. Does he not understand that Haslam pays attention to that?
A high school kid will be benched for a week if he gets caught drinking. In Pettine's bizzaro world a grown man gets a permanevt ban for legally consuming alcohol on his off week.
People are furious over this and he would probably be wise in paying for private security.

Question: will retardwedge ever be capable of comprehending WHY Manziel was benched?
It seems to everyone, except that geriatric imbecile, that Manziel wasn't benched just for "legally consuming alcohol on his off week", because there are numerous fallacies in that statement.

100% of the time a college player with more yards and touchdowns (Davis) gets the start over a player with inferior college stats (Manziel), retardwedge will come up with a logically flawed and asinine argument contradicting his own made up stats.

Manziel isn't playing because he's not good. That's all there is to it.

Great question. Not sure of the answer. That's why I try and avoid quoting him, out of concern that rational minds like yours might be polluted by his nonsense.Sonofanump;1767054 wrote:Question: when will everyone else ignore the idiot and stop quoting him?

a block in the back is between the shoulder blades at the numbers of the rear of the jersey.QuakerOats;1767145 wrote:At the 11 second mark of the video, at the 40 yard line ------- if that is not a block in the back I don't know what is... freeze it and see what you think

that is a side block on the shoulders, and #6 turns his angle to rear of shoulders right before the contact.
that would not be a BIB.
