Again, that's fine. No reason to believe me I suppose. Only get to watch team for 16 games.....if I've suffered through 15 weeks and only witnessed 1 win I sure in the hell won't be mad if they get a win in the final week. If I'm watching....I will never be unhappy with a win. Future is too unknown. I want my teams to win it all...if we are getting that #1 pick we need a shit ton more than a stud QB. That #1 pick QB has worked 3x in NFL history to win a SB for the team that drafted themCommander of Awesome;1766690 wrote:I'll remember this next time (hopefully next season when that fat rapist pos finally gets a career ending injury in the preseason) and the steelers toil their way to a 1-14 season, and you're rooting for the win and the #2 pick over the next Andrew luck.

Fire every last one of them tonight.
The level of failure this group has managed is staggering.

Cam Erving and Shelton were right in the middle of that failure. Seems fitting.

Mike Pettine....the master of clock management. Tasked to win? Do you think Johnny slides at the 33? And playing McCown with a bad shoulder is beyond the pale. I never want to hear Pettine use the phrase "tasked to win". He owes an apology to the players, the assistant coaches, Ray Farmer and Jimmy Haslam. The day Austin Davis gives the Browns the better chance to win there will be ice cubes in hell.

It was actually a brilliant loss, can't be really mad at team effort, it was a fluke play, and they remain in the #1 spot for April...

Get off your high horse. The steelers fans abandoned their team (based on attendance drops) after two 8-8 seasons and you are trying to tell us to care more? LOL.Ironman92;1766702 wrote:Again, that's fine. No reason to believe me I suppose. I wanted the Browns to win, but I also wasn't going to QQ about it. If you ever have the joy of sticking around with your team after multiple losing seasons, please let us know how much that 3rd win of the season during week 12 felt. I am willing to bet it would just feel as empty as it would for us.
As COA pointed out, I am sure colts fans are happy they didn't win more than 2 games when they drafted luck the following year (and yes I realize there isn't an Andrew luck prospect this year). I would take 2 wins during that season over the 4 meaningless games we won that season (including one over the colts).
Tl:dr version: a fucking Pittsburgh fan from Ohio has no idea what the hell he is talking about.

Just 1 person's opinion. I'm not on any high horse. I'm just not going to root for them to lose. I'm just not. I wasn't rooting for the Reds to tank like 1/3 of their other fans (I know stud QB is more important than any baseball draft)...but the idea.like_that;1766722 wrote:Get off your high horse. Football/basketball draft isn't even comparable to the baseball draft.Ironman92;1766726 wrote:Just 1 person's opinion. I'm not on any high horse. I'm just not going to root for them to lose. And again, let us know if you feel the same way if the steelers ever end up as bad as the Browns franchise has been for over 10 years.

I lol'd at some of the national websites (Yahoo, NFL.com, etc) headlines of "Browns lose in stunning fashion." This may have "stunned" the national audience, but for a Browns fan this was just another day in the life.....(sigh)
