Kind of surprised nothing has been started about this yet on the OC.
From Ohio SoS site:
http://www.sos.state.oh.us/SOS/elections/Voters/whatsontheballot/2015Issues.aspx
Issue 1: Creates a bipartisan, public process for drawing legislative districts
Issue 2: Anti-monopoloy amendment; protects the initiative process from being used for personal economical benefit.
Issue 3: Grants a monopoly for the commercial production and sale of marijuana for recreational and medicinal purposes.
How will you vote:

I'm pretty sure I'm going no on 1 and 2 and yes on 3. Someone can try to convince me otherwise.

As if Issue 1 is going to change anything. It will still be a corrupt way to draw lines only instead of having one party we'll have two. What a joke!?

I think so. At least I'm pretty sure that virtually all the pro-3 commercials specifically tie the two issues together in a "NO ON 2, YES ON 3" way.hasbeen;1759886 wrote:isn't a yes on 2 make a yes on 3 meaningless?

While i realize that a yes on 2 negates a Yes on 3, i want them both to pass. A yes on 2 should be the law. Enough Yes votes on 3 might make the idiots in Columbus realize that weed should be legal.

I don't trust the General Assembly as far as I can throw them. They are beyond out of touch with the citizens of their state.QuakerOats;1759892 wrote:legislature working on a medical-only bill .............don't sell your soul to the drug cartels.

I am for the legalization of marijuana, but Issue 3 is not the way to go about it. It's funny, people are so anxious to get it passed they are blinded by all of the ignorant shit written in it.
Slow down folks. If you want marijuana legalized like it should be, have some patience and wait until the bill is written in a fair and less idiotic fashion.

I had a nice meeting with my employees this morning. Told them if issue 3 passes, I will make them randomly take a drug test whenever I want. It they refuse, they are fired, if they test positive for marijuana, they are fired. None of them had an issue with that. Happy voting folks.

So you're going to fire them for doing something that's legal? Hope you have a good lawyer.dontcare;1760473 wrote:I had a nice meeting with my employees this morning. I sure will. They have all signed a contract that says so. Imagine getting fired for doing a legal drug. If their job and supporting their family is more important to them they won't do it. If people don't like it, well, that's tough shit.superman;1760474 wrote:So you're going to fire them for doing something that's legal? Hope you have a good lawyer.
