Bringing it over from the old place and see how it translates here. Rules are pretty much the same as they were a year ago. Here we go:

1. Each week will consist of 14 games worth a total of 15 points. One game will be the *key* game worth 2 points. It will be indicated with a *. The season will be 9 weeks long, starting the week of 1/4/2010 and ending the week concluding 3/7/2010

2. You simply pick the winner of each game and keep a running tally of your record for the entire season. I will post standings each week on Sunday night with the updated results.

3. You must enter at least 7 of the 9 weeks to remain eligible to win. Once you have missed more than 2 weeks, don't bother making picks as they won't be counted.

4. Each game must be picked prior to it starting. We have timestamps on here so that won't be a problem. If you are late, simply pick all of the games that haven't started and you can still get credit for those. You will take a loss for any game not picked or that you arrive late to.

5. The best way to make picks is to just copy my list of games and just leave the team you pick to win. It makes the whole thing easier to grade and means I can update everything faster.

6. I will pick key games from all over. Mostly from major conferences, but other big games from smaller leagues or with local interest. I will use Ken Pomeroy's ratings when listing teams.

7. Have fun and don't take it too seriously. I'll do my best to stay on top of everything, but double checking my math is always a good idea. BTW, anyone is free to enter regardless of whether you have participated in the past.

Tennessee over Kansas?? Isn't half of the Vol's team suspended??

They are as of now, but there are some rumors of that being resolved by tip for this game. Wouldn't be surprised if they are all back.

Are they? I haven't kept up. I didn't know any action had been taken yet.

I'm switching my pick as long as it's OK with Az.

Tyler Smith, Cameron Tatum, Melvin Goins and Brian Williams are suspended indefinitely right now. They will at minimum miss tomorrow night's game against Charlotte. You can change it, that's fine. I fully expect everyone to take Kansas if nothing changes with those suspensions.

Thanks for the info. That's unfortunate for what probably would have been an excellent basketball game.

I'll be the insane one who sticks with Tennessee.
