To me, Glenn has always been a character that's just kind of there. I've always viewed him as a redshirt who's cheated the inevitable many more times than he should.
my only hope that is IF he is still alive, he turns out to be like Rick and just doesn't give a fuck anymore about who he kills.

I started rewatching the series just for giggles. I forgot how annoying Andrea was and how much I hated her.

Last night was a decent episode. I wonder what the blood significance is.

Was it blood, or was it cracking? I couldn't tell.
Initially thought it was blood...if it was, my first thought was it was from her son who was up in the watch tower earlier. Seemed pretty out of it...maybe killed himself?

That's what I was thinking, or he accidentally fell. I don't think it was just a crack in the wall

I took it as both. Walkers pushing up against the wall, causing blood to seep through a crack or seam in the sheet metal.

Mythbusters did an experiment and there's a limit to how much force a zombie horde could put on a wall or door....so there's no reason those walls should come down. But I suppose you can say that's not scientific since they didn't use an actual zombie horde.

I wonder if the factored in imperfect materials and possibly degradation due to limited upkeep and being exposed to the elements.

They used a comparatively older barn door reinforced with a handful of very basic materials (2x4's and nails). The force exerted maxes out somewhat surprisingly fast

The only real life example that can think of would be the Hillsborough soccer fence not collapsing under all that pressure.

Then again zombie strength isn't consistent. One time a small child can fight off a zombie, next time, a skilled zombie killer like Maggie cant fend off a water logged sewer zombie.

That's a good point, and that wasn't reinforced ( I don't think).

As bodies mass up, there's no leverage and so the force from additional bodies is offset by the lack of leverage. And even if you think about everyone leaning "into the wall", the center of force is going to gradually move backwards to some inflection point.

I'm sure there's a physics explanation that's beyond me, but the wall around that town wouldn't come down without help.

Or back in season 2, a walker couldn't unstick istself from the mud but then ripped open Dale's abdomen with his hands.

Well fuck him. I think and hope it was Glenn.

On a side note, it seems like this entire season has spanned about an hour and a half of real time

I was wondering with all that noise attacking Darryl, Abraham, & Sasha, could they be in the same area as Glenn and Nicholas's intestines?

Don't know, not an educator, not sure what "me Nicholas' " would pertain to.
