Total throughout the workout, not in a row. In a row, I can probably hit 70 or 80 at this point.
None of my clothes fit anymore, so I'm doing more shopping than I've done in years. At this point, I'm down 27lbs.

In P90, level 3-4, here are the sets:Sonofanump;878889 wrote:How many set of pushups are in this program?
(1) 20 decline
(2) 20 wide
(3) 7 wide, 7 close, max standard
(4) max standard
They're buried in the middle of a lot of other exercises that use upper body, so it's tough to make a straight comparison about how many you can do regular. A few weeks back I pounded out 50 regular without feeling a strain, though I haven't just maxed the regular push-ups apart from the rest of the workout.

Since this is where I've been doing my updates/ramblings on the Bas Rutten workouts I'll post the one I did today here. It's one of his workout of the day things that takes his already very exhausting workouts and adds to them. Very effective.

Not that I'm interested because I've graduated from the P90X/Insanity programs but is anyone purchasing P90X 2? Looks like a load of medecine ball/balance work and some ridiculous pullups.

Completed 13 of the 15 minutes of pure cardio. I'll consider that a win.

Doing some P90X/Asylum strength workouts M/W/F with some plyo, speed workouts on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Thinking about going through another round of Insanity soon though.

Still plugging away on my Wendler 5/3/1. Strength is through the roof. Can't thank P90X/Insanity enough for getting me motivated to get back into fitness after a bit of a layoff. 44 years old and I'm shooting for 400 (bench), 525 (squat), 575 (deadlift) & 225 standing overhead press by the end of next summer. Wish me luck!Sonofanump;944925 wrote:Anyone still on this? Doing a short little P27insanityX for the next four weeks. 282 pushups today. Goal is 300.

For me, Mrs. FFT & I are doing ChaLean now--more weights-focused than P90. Generally, I want to do whatever the minimal amount of work is to stay in pretty good shape. I'm a pretty solid 6', 170 right now, and I'd just like to stay in shape.

ChaLean is a good program. She may be a chick but her workouts are seriously intense.

Yeah, I was kind of shocked by how intense it was, even though it's a bunch of women and one effeminate dude lifting. I'm guaranteed sore every single time, no matter how much I warm up and stretch. I like that they're all under 40 mins, which fits into my schedule must better than P90X.BR1986FB;945658 wrote:ChaLean is a good program. She may be a chick but her workouts are seriously intense.

My wife is doing ChaLean at the moment. Once my legs start working again (because of the Tough Mudder) I'm going to jump back in to p90x. I might spring for p90x2 at some point.

You should try insanity. As bout as close you can get to what a wrestling practice feels like.

The only reason I was so fuckered up afterwards was because I didn't train for it at all and was completely out of shape.Sonofanump;946992 wrote:Fuck the tough mudder, I'll stick to triathalons and be able to walk the next day.
