The P90X2 looked too whacky for me. Too many balance ball pushups and awkward looking shit. I have done Horton's One on One "Fountain of Youth" yoga and it's much better that Yoga X. It's about 42 minutes versus the 90 for Yoga X.

Except Eric. That's a prosthetic leg, so no excuses from any of you.

My arms are so sore today. Going for more weight and pushing myself harder this round. Instead of 15 reps, going for 8-10.

Toughest part for me has been losing the belly fat. I've been losing weight, and getting skinnier, but the belly fat is still there. Going to keep plugging away. When it's all said and done, i'll more than likely continue to lift, throw in some running, and do the ab-ripper 3x per week.

Abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym! Get that diet sorted.

BTW...I found the Holy Grail online yesterday. Had to restock on Scivation Xtend BCAA's and found the original formula in the large size (Watermelon) and bought three of them. That find is as rare as spotting the Loch Ness Monster.

Got a link? I was searching the other day and found the watermelon flavor, but it was in the smaller can and not so cheap.

Still, diet is key to shedding fat. I used to work the hell out of my abs and I never saw results until I started focusing more on my diet.

.
Was it the new stuff or the old? The old is much cheaper. I just went to the place I get it and they didn't have the old stuff in the smaller container. I got the larger container which is probably more than you're looking to spend.

I'm guessing new based on the price. I just searched real quick. I'll look into further when I get low.

Yeah, the effer's changed the formula thus upping the price. Haven't tried the new stuff yet.

Did P90x and now am in the last phase of P90x2. They are very different. I did not like the first phase of p90x2 but I needed it. It is a ton of balance stuff. Second phase is good and phase three starts next week.

I kinda really enjoyed YogaX. I did skip the ab part at the end (Scumbag p90x: Don't work your abs every day, abs 3 days in a row ) and some of the balance poses towards the end (ran out of time) but I did about an hour of it, so I did all 45 minutes of the movement Yoga. Really worked some soreness out and I definitely feel a lot looser today.

TWSS

Yoga and Kenpo have become tough for me to get around to doing. Probably because I read this thread! :) I may substitute Kenpo tomorrow with a 2-mile run. Good or bad?

I'm not going back through the whole thread. Cliffs on the Kenpo and Yoga from earlier in the thread?

I did sub in a running or biking or swimming on Kenpo days.

Keep the yoga in the rotation.

Yoga has been the toughest. I might run and yoga tomorrow. I mowed my yard instead of doing yoga yesterday. I need to start doing it in the mornings. When I have yoga days, I say that I'll do it in the evening. I always talk myself out of it.

Sitting on a rider mower doesn't count as exercise.
