I don't want to read the Hickville Tribune that a 29 year old guy died from shortness of breathe after P90X plyo.like_that;1062153 wrote:lol reps. I hope nobody helps ETB.
Legit lol'd at this post. I would rep you, but unfortunately I already repped your other post.Sonofanump;1062294 wrote:I don't want to read the Hickville Tribune that a 29 year old guy died from shortness of breathe after P90X plyo.
Funny you say that. The realtor who just sold the house that I flipped is asking around if anyone has Insanity that she can borrow/burn. I'm thinking "bitch, please...I did 3 rounds of P90X before I even TRIED Insanity and I was spitting up lung the first time I did the WARMUP." She'd be toast.Sonofanump;1062294 wrote:I don't want to read the Hickville Tribune that a 29 year old guy died from shortness of breathe after P90X plyo.
I have not even moved on from the first two workouts, cardio circuit and plyo. The warm up is ten times harder than P90X plyo which was the hardest workout on the P90X.BR1986FB;1062337 wrote:Funny you say that. Have you tried www.google.com ? That might help.ernest_t_bass;1062041 wrote:Thanks. I've done my searching, but, you know... with 30 pages of P90x stuff, perhaps someone here can offer some advice? Hurp.

My friend who is just starting into P90X wanted to do it, I did Insanity earlier so I did not mind at all getting a second light workout in. But Jesus, that was boring. Yoga then Kenpo then light Plyo?BR1986FB;1070926 wrote:Yeah, that workout is lame.

You guys are crazy ( but inspirational). I'm happy just to alternate P90/ChaLean for 4-5 days a week while watching diet. I'm not in awesome shape, but I'm a pretty solid 170 (down from 200), which is less than what I was at my college graduation. I'm aiming for 167.5 (5 lbs more than HS graduation, when I was definitely too skinny).BR1986FB;1070991 wrote:When you're first starting the P90X cardio isn't too bad but once your stamina builds up you have to add things like weighted gloves/ankle weights to even get any effect.
The crazy ones are those doing insanity max interval training. I'm almost ready to graduate from the basic insanity to max.fan_from_texas;1071307 wrote:You guys are crazy ( but inspirational).
How do you bench? Form?birddog23;1071352 wrote:Starting my 4th week of my Leangains workouts. It has been awesome so far. I have had incredible increases in my squats, deadlifts, chin ups, and pull ups. The only one that I'm still struggling with is bench press. But other than that my body has really improved and I can definitely see and feel the difference. Plus this I'm only working out 3 days a week for about 50 minutes. Martin Berkhan is the man!
