Had surgery Tuesday still at hospital for a couple more days. Dr removed all of tumor( tennis ball) , part of the Pancreas, all of gall bladder, part of bile duct, and duodenum.

Before he opened me up he thought I was fortunate but as soon as he opened me up, he said it could have not presented in any better way and surgery was perfect. Little over 4 hours. Some take 10 plus.

While in tested 27 nodes, liver, etc..,no evidence of disease. No follow up chemo or radiation. Just ct scans follow up every 3 months for next few years.

Recovery has been great as well. My surgeon Dr john matyas is amazing and so are all the nusrses, psa, etc that have helped as well at Riverside Methodist in Columbus.killed

My wife, family, kids, friends, co-workers and even peopl we barely have been so kind and helpful already and will commune to be for weeks to come

Cancer free, been a hard three weeks but I definitely feel great about the future

Awesome to hear it, man. Praying the recovery and CT checkups are without any hiccups.
