If Carson did get elected, it would be funny to watch the left pull a complete 180 and raise the bar, rather than lower it as they have for Obama.

Maybe Carson's slogan could be "America's first GOOD black President"...

Unlike you people I don't wet my pants over social issues or "bible thumping" as you call it. I have voted for presidential candidates that I know do not align with my social values as well as a host of other things. The point I have been making is the press who are given these "moderator" positions are goading the candidates into giving their personal beliefs, perhaps as you fear for sound bites. We are not electing a dictator. Less than 25% of the shit a presidential candidate humps will never see the light of day. Presidential vetos are even going the way of the dinosaur. Foreign policy is probably the presidents strongest suit.

As for sportchampps and how to address these questions like the one asked of Gov. Walker about abortion to save the life of the mother for instance. Here is how I would answer it:

"I would be more than happy to answer your question in full at another time. This debate forum does not allow me that time. Since you bring up abortion lets talk about present events that are more relevant. With the recent release of the planned parenthood videos it would appear to me that federal laws were being broken. Abortion is legal. Profiting off of the sale of the remains of it is not. As president I would order a full and thorough investigation. Anyone found to be in violation of federal law will be held accountable".

I like Carson he in my top 6 list but he has to clarify his 2 Amendment views. Early in one of his interviews he mention "take the guns away.".... He has avoided this issue ...

Not sure why you lump me into the social group category. I never have and never will base my vote on social issues. Unfortunately and the reality is the majority of millennials (and women) do. As sport champs stated, it would be nice for the GOP candidate to not provide the dems with any stupid ass petty sound bytes that will rile up some dipshit sjw.

You're gonna have to wake up soon. With every election, the millennials ( hell even throw gen x in there) become more of a force. Your "nobody cares about their vote" approach isn't going to fly no matter how delusional you are.

He said, "I would never advocate anything to interfere with Second Amendment rights; however, I do think we have to be intelligent" and address situations where people with AK-47s are mowing people down. "We need to discuss, 'Is there something we can do?' We have to keep in mind that law-abiding American citizens absolutely should have gun rights."

Sleep easy. He doesn't want to take away your guns. How on earth would you cope?
