I prefer a consumption tax as well. Politically I agree "flat" is better. By the way its tithe.sportchampps;1744814 wrote:I prefer a consumption tax to a flat tax. The problem is call it a flat tax not tything. When you call it tything you turn off young middle of the road voters. Young people are turning away from reliegon at record rates and while the bible plays to the conservative base it doesn't play with the people who will decide the election.

Asking questions is not bible thumping. Press is pushing it. Should they lie?like_that;1744832 wrote:Yes, and apparently unlike you I realize they need to evolve from the bible bullshit. It's the bible thumping image democrats love to paint the pubs as.

No, but it's a question they shouldn't have even asked. If the GOP had done their research they would know their religious image does more damage to their party than good. Also I would prefer the candidates to answer legitimate questions about our country, not whether fucking God talks to them or not. What a joke.majorspark;1744838 wrote:Asking questions is not bible thumping. Press is pushing it. Should they lie?
I hate 90% of democrat policies, but I know they wouldn't ask that stupid as question.

It shouldn't be asked keep the bible out of politics. I agree it's what Democrats use against Repubs. I'm not mad at them answering the question it just shouldn't be asked.

If kasich gets more face time I think people will realize he is the best candidate.

At the end of the day, religion isnt going to keep the independents from voting for them. So I dont think they mind throwing that question in for the religious right.
