We harp on the officiating because ,league wide, it's poor. Everyone knows it, but sure we are still going to watch.

Pretty much a guarantee the Lakers will be outside the top 3 and lose their pick.
Which isn't the worst thing in the world. I'd almost prefer to lose the pick than be 3rd.

Why is that? Trade stipulations or don't like the 3rd best player?wildcats20;1796094 wrote:Pretty much a guarantee the Lakers will be outside the top 3 and lose their pick.

I just think after Ingram and Simmons, there isn't a clear cut next best guy. I really like Kris Dunn, but not at 3. And he doesn't fit a need for LA.Commander of Awesome;1796095 wrote:Why is that? Trade stipulations or don't like the 3rd best player?

But they lose the pick if they don't pick in the top 3 right? Wouldn't you rather have Dunn than no one?wildcats20;1796096 wrote:I just think after Ingram and Simmons, there isn't a clear cut next best guy. I really like Kris Dunn, but not at 3. And he doesn't fit a need for LA.

All pics have held serve. I think it has been a while since a team didn't vault into top 3 to bump someone out

now means they will almost certainly lose next years pick instead (not as much protection if any)SportsAndLady;1796103 wrote:But they lose the pick if they don't pick in the top 3 right? Wouldn't you rather have Dunn than no one?

Dunn doesn't fit in LA. I'm not sure what they would have done if they landed at 3.SportsAndLady;1796103 wrote:But they lose the pick if they don't pick in the top 3 right? Wouldn't you rather have Dunn than no one?

At 2, they are getting Simmons or Ingram. I'm hoping for Ingram.

Does the draft lottery matter? The refs in this league are bad. If a ref makes a bad call, he should be fired and replaced with a rookie ref who will never miss a call. That'll fix the league and make basketball great again.

IMO Sixers gotta go Ingram. Simmons can't shoot, and he will transition to a 4. And if they are loaded at any position it's 4/5 unless, they move Noel or Okafor. (No one will touch Embiid)

Found it odd their GM kept emphasizing how happy they were with Embiid...didn't mention Okafor/Noel.HighRoller74;1796110 wrote:IMO Sixers gotta go Ingram. You have to go Ben Simmons there. He's the clear cut best player in this draft IMO.

But is it set up where they would "lose" the pick this year and get it back next year? Because then I could see why you're saying this. But if it's kris dunn or you just don't get a pick, then I'm confused.

Yeah... I'm not one for conspiracy theories but I've always felt like the NBA lottery was rigged and him twittering that out hours before the lottery was just hilarious then it actually happened.Benny The Jet;1796107 wrote:Mutumbo is going to be in some hot water!

I think he was sing that in addition to the pick, they are getting Embiid and the guy from Europe this year. Almost like they got 3 top picks.Benny The Jet;1796111 wrote:Found it odd their GM kept emphasizing how happy they were with Embiid...didn't mention Okafor/Noel.

That will only leave them 5-6 players short of an actual NBA roster.superman;1796152 wrote:I think he was sing that in addition to the pick, they are getting Embiid and the guy from Europe this year. Almost like they got 3 top picks.
